𝐃𝐚𝐛𝐢 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐞, glaring at Tempus who glared back at him. He didn't trust her one bit. A hero wanting to become a villain? Ha, that's funny.
"So doll, if you want to be a villain, why keep being a hero?"
Tempus gazed at the ceiling and crossed her arms, he knows why. He isn't dumb. He's trying to get a reaction from her. A reaction to determine her loyalty. It was almost hard to tell with that mask on her face.
The irony. Spying for both sides, stealing for both sides, conflicted morals stirring up in her head telling her to actually stay hero or go villain. She doesn't even have herself some loyalty.
"You're smarter than that, Dabi. ." She mumbled.
He chuckled with a low tone. "And you're smarter than to not answer my question."
"And look where we are now. ." She glanced at him.
Dabi ran a hand through his hair, he figured she was cocky but not this cocky. She's reckless yet it could be useful.
"How can we trust you if you're still a hero?" He suddenly said, "For all we know, you could be a fucking spy."
You're not lying-
She sighed. "You're a very distrustful person. ."
"Very." He grinned, leaning next to her. "You don't want to get on my bad side, doll."
Tempus raised an eyebrow at this before stepping to the side so his breath won't hit her face again. "Did it ever. . come to you. . that I also have a bad side?"
Dabi sneered before leaning back into the wall. "Take off that mask and show me. Show me that little face the world is begging to see."
She scoffed, glaring at him. He has a way with toying people, to manipulate them into thinking that they're friends. Guess what? She can do the same.
"I rather not. . it's still the only reason I can still be Tempus. ." The hero muttered. "That's how I can be useful. . because I don't go around, showing off secrets. ."
He grinned. "Ah, your villain side is showing. It's almost pleasant to see if only I could trust you. How are you going to prove that you're not a spy? Tell me, doll, how do you gain the loyalty of the League of Villains?"
"You look like someone in their twenties. ." She murmured, placing her hands in her pockets. "And since when. . do you have white hair. ."
Dabi widened his eyes slightly, looking away from her. He slowly walked away from her, it seems she touched a sensitive topic.
He wondered how she could tell face features with him. Especially if most of his face is charred off. White hair? Was it really showing? He scowled in that one second, she must know something.
"Do you have it?"
Tempus looked up, seeing Shigaraki with a few others. She dug through the pocket on her belt and tossed it to him. A hologram device.
He caught it with ease, analyzing it. "That's it? That's all you can get, Tempus? How are we going to expose the hero society of their misdeeds on people like you?"
"No, I can get more. ." She mumbled. "I just don't want it to be suspicious. ."
Shigaraki scoffed, passing the device to someone who is named Twice. "Tch, does HPSC even know where you are around this time?"
Yes.
"No. . they think I'm on one of my nightly patrols. ."
"Good and we're going to keep it that way." Shigaraki scratched at his neck. "So, are you going to be part of the Vanguard Action Squad?"
