Tokoyami didn't know what to do, his quirk wasn't suited for this. And she was handicapped at the moment with her dislocated shoulder, there was no possible way for her to land 'safely.'

He closed his eyes, trying to decide. He didn't want Dark Shadow on a rampage and get people hurt. He also didn't want Dark Shadow to get hurt. But some sacrifices are needed, he didn't want Tempus to be dead.
Tokoyami jumped off, his hands to the side. He never knew that his day would end with him falling down willingly off a building just to rescue a hero he hardly knows about.

Tempus furrowed her eyebrows, in a starfish position as she continued falling. She had a thing for jumping off buildings now. Maybe it was the fresh air she liked or a habit at this point.
From her time being (Y/N), she clearly remembered Tokoyami stating that he couldn't control Dark Shadow in the dark. That's how much she trusted in him.
Oh, he jumped down.
Even though he couldn't see her face, it was still blank. She wasn't lying about his quirk having more opportunities, it did. He just needed to learn how to find those opportunities himself.
His quirk was activated, revealing a giant shadow. It stifled a roar, holding the sides of his head in agony.

She thought in amusement, she didn't know how close she was to the ground honestly. It wasn't scary, it just might come as a surprise when she hits the ground.
Dark Shadow flinched while Tokoyami tried to control him, it was a mental battle up there. Then, the shadow zoomed down towards her with great speed. It felt like she was falling for a while but three seconds barely passed. Time is strange.
Dark Shadow stretched himself out and created a trampoline beneath her, enough for Tokoyami to land in as well. It was like landing in a pool of water, it hits you back except it doesn't hurt.
She was in the air for a second since Tokoyami had a harsh impact. She fell on her butt that hit the sidewalk. His quirk disappeared, probably to avoid the rampage.
"You're diabolical for falling like that." This was the first time he sassed her, giving her the side eye.
She shrugged.
"What if you actually fell to your death? What then?"
Tempus gazed at the sky, tilting her head. If she wasn't saved and hit the ground. . ☺

"What did I fucking say Tempus?!" She threw the newspaper on the table. "We had a fucking deal and you still have a debt to pay."
