The arrival of the large pack of dragons at Berk had caused quite a stir. Toothless, had to work tirelessly to calm the panicked creatures down. Hiccup had never seen dragons in such a state before. Their movements were erratic, and they seemed almost frenzied with fear. He watched in awe as his mother, Valka, worked her magic to soothe some of the more agitated dragons. She was able to communicate with them, guiding them to a safe and secluded area away from the villagers.

As the situation unfolded, Hiccup ordered the villagers to return to their homes while he and his gang investigated what was happening. They decided to hold their meeting in Hiccup's hut, situated far away from any distractions or prying eyes. The hut was a cozy and inviting space, with a large wooden table in the center of the dining room where they all gathered. Hiccup's hut was filled with mementos of his adventures, from dragon scales to maps of the surrounding lands, giving the room a sense of adventure and excitement. The gang sat in silence, ready to discuss the situation at hand.

"This has to be the work of the warlords, I mean is not a coincidence that Heather came in the state she was in for them to attack Dragon Island at almost the same time. It must have been a large fleet because we know that Dragon Island has a large population of dragons not to mention that there are Tymphomerangs, Timberjacks, and so many others", exclaimed Astrid as she drove a fist into the table rattling it to make her point cross, as the rest lean away from the table. All of them were still hurt by the passing of Heather but it fueled with resolve to stop this war from ever reaching their shores. Fishlegs had remained silent for a long time as he was still deeply hurt by the passing of Heather but he knew that deep down she would have wanted him to continue his life and the fight to bring peace between the Vikings and dragons. He had been thinking how a large fleet of dragon hunter ships couldn't pass through their sentries not to mention how were they able to navigate the fog and locate the island.

"Astrid I don't think it was dragon hunters because how would such a large fleet have not been noticed by our sentries? The weather so far has been very pleasant and there have been no signs of storms moving into this area which means they would have no covered fog or rough weather to have sneaked near our borders. Not to mention how were they able to navigate the fog to get to the island? It is impossible to do so unless they have captured a dragon to help them be able to navigate. But, still, we would have been alerted if such a large fleet was moving", Fishlegs pointed out to Astrid as he was pointing at the map that they had on the table and moving pieces around to further make his point which she agreed that a large dragon fleet would have been noticed right away.

"It could have been Jormungandr! The amount of destruction would be glorious", the twins chimed in which was not very helpful at all as Fishlegs started to state facts about how it would not be impossible since it said the world serpent would only rise on the day of Ragnarok which all of them would perish. Astrid berated the twins for not bringing anything useful to the table and to stop goofing around before she decided to use them to sharpen her axe. Snotlout has been quiet sitting at the table which was unusual given that if he were younger he would have been boasting about how his muscles would teach those dragon hunters a lesson but he had matured since those years and didn't feel like he had to prove himself to anyone anymore, especially not to his father. But, he had noticed that his cousin was being uncharacteristically quiet, not having offered any input at all but just staring at the map. He also started to notice that the argument that Astrid and Fishlegs were having with the Thorston twins was already getting out of hand.

"What do you think we should do Chief?", he asked interrupting ongoing bickering to bring their attention back to the topic they were discussing prior. Hiccup raised his head back up and stared at the group as they were waiting for his input. "I have to say both of you brought up pretty good points but I feel that the only way we are ever going to figure out what happened is to go to Dragon Island. After all, is been a long time since we visited that place and I think we should start preparing supplies and just to be on the safe side bring our weapons in case we encounter anything dangerous out there. Head back to your huts and get a full night's rest because we will leave before the sun rises". With the meeting having concluded everybody started to head out towards their huts to be ready to head first thing in the morning. Hiccup would leave his mother in charge of the island while he headed out to investigate but as he was tucking himself in he couldn't help but feel worried and be apprehensive as to what they might find when they get there.
