The following morning, Logan was lying in his comfortable bed when he was awakened by the sun's rays streaming in through the window. He put a hand to his forehead, his head was aching like hell. He immediately remembered last night and when he turned to say good morning to Erin, he realized that the spot next to him was empty and cold. He decided to get up and go look for her around the house, thinking that she must have gotten up before him.

But after a while, he realized that Erin was no longer in the house. Sadness rose in him.
He thought that everything would be fine between them, that she loved him. But maybe he was right, he would never find a girl who would love him.

To distract himself from these depressing thoughts, he checked his phone and saw two missed calls from Kendall. Logan called him back and Kendall answered the phone almost immediately. "Dude, where are you?"

"Sorry, Kendall, I had a late night and just woke up. What's going on?"

"Get to the hospital as soon as possible, it's Chloe."

"Has she woken up?"

"Just hurry and come to the hospital," Kendall said and hung up.

Logan rushed to the hospital as fast as he could. He got to the hallway of Chloe's room, his friends were already waiting for him.

"Logan ..." Carlos said when he saw him.

"So, what's going on?" Logan asked, breathing hard from running. Kendall stood up. "The doctor came and told us that Chloe's condition wasn't well last night. Her heart was failing a couple of times, and in addition to treatment she needs a bone marrow transplant."

"But there's more ... the doctor and the social worker were thinking of unplugging the machinery that keeps her alive so she doesn't suffer any more", James said in a trembling voice. Logan was shocked. "I need to talk to the doctor," he said.

"Any problems here?" a voice asked behind them, and when Logan turned around, he saw Chloe's doctor and the social worker.

"Yes, there is a problem. How can you let a three year old girl die?" Logan asked in disgust.

"It is an option that we have evaluated, so she will not suffer anymore," the doctor explained.

"Besides, she has no family, her parents abandoned her and no one adopts sick children these days," the social worker added.

"But it's not fair, she has the right to live!" Logan said, raising his voice.

"Unfortunately, there isn't much choice," the doctor said.

"I won't allow it!" Logan said with tears in his eyes, then he left the hospital and went home.

A couple of days have passed and the BTR crew was filming new episodes for the show - or at least they tried, because Logan didn't show up for the shoots anymore, which worried a lot of them. At least that's what Katelyn told Erin. Erin herself had not been on set for a few days, so this news was anything but pleasant for her.

She hadn't forgotten about her evening with Logan and now she was even more worried about him, also she was plagued by a guilty conscience because she had just left without saying goodbye to him.

"Do you guys have any news about Logan?", she asked the other three members of BTR during a break.

"Yeah, he's not having a great time right now," James said.

"How come?"

"Well, it's Chloe, she has gotten worse ... the doctor found a mass in her stomach which she will have to treat with therapy and in addition to being in a coma she needs a bone marrow transplant," Kendall explained.

"Plus, the doctors and the social worker were deciding to pull the plug so Chloe won't suffer anymore," Carlos added. Erin put a hand to her mouth in shock.

"Logan has become fond of Chloe and since he found out the news he has fallen into depression, he no longer comes to rehearsals for concerts, he doesn't come to set.

He only leaves the house for shopping and to go to the hospital to see Chloe," Carlos continued.

"Poor Logan," Erin said saidly

Like every other day, Logan was in Chloe's room, hoping she would wake up. "Hi, little bear, please wake up soon, I miss you so much," Logan whispered, taking her small hand.

"Logan," a voice said from behind him. He turned around to look at his friends.

"How is she?" Kendall asked.

"As always, nothing new," Logan said with his head down.

"Come on, Logan, you'll see that everything will work out", Carlos tried to cheer him up.

"Well, looks like our little patient has some company," the doctor said as he entered the room.

"Doctor, how is she?" the boys asked.

"Unfortunately, as I have already told you, she still needs a marrow transplant," he said, looking at the medical records.

"And if she gets the transplant, she will wake up?" Carlos asked.

"Well, there's good 50% chance that she could wake up."

"Then let's do it," Kendall said.

"We need a donor first."

"I will be her donor!" Logan exclaimed.

"Alright, Mr. Henderson, then we first have to check if you are a possible match. I will arrange the necessary examinations for it", the doctor said, and left the room.
