Daddy's Girl ~ Logan Henderson ( Big Time Rush)

Chapter 7

Together they return to Chloe's room where the girls of their group were also waiting for them.

"Hey Logan, anything new?" Alexa asks.

"Unfortunately, no, I hope she wakes up soon," Logan says, looking at Chloe in the hospital bed. Suddenly, one of the devices connected to Chloe begins to beep frantically. The group focus their eyes on the monitor and Chloe.

"Logan, you better call the doctor", Kendall tells his friend, looking worried. But Logan doesn't listen to him anymore, and is already running out into the hallway.

*One hour later*

"Doctor, how is she?" The friends ask the doctor when he comes out of Chloe's room.

"Unfortunately, she had food poisoning, perhaps caused by the fact that her parents didn't let her eat, so she ate what she could find. Therefore, I don't see any improvements, in fact I would reluctantly proceed with the option of not letting her suffer anymore," he explains with a serious expression.

"No, please!" Logan exclaims, annoyed by his words.

"I'm sorry, but I don't want this little girl to spend the rest of her life in bed not knowing if she'll wake up ... I will prepare the forms for the procedure," the doctor says and walks away. They look after him in dismay, tears form in their eyes.

*Chloe's room*

"Dude, why don't you go home? It's late, we will stay and watch Chloe for you", Kendall says to Logan.

"No! I won't leave her side," Logan says firmly, not moving away from Chloe.

"Fine, but we will stay right here," say the boys.

"Yes, we're staying too," the girls agreed.

"Thanks guys," Logan says in a tired and exhausted voice.

Only Logan was left in the room since his friends had gone to get something to eat.

"Hey baby girl, it's me, Logan. Please, if you hear me, wake up." He takes Chloe's hand. "I don't want to lose you, a sweet and strong little girl like you can't give up on everything," he whispers with tears in his eyes, stroking her small hand.

*The following morning*

The boys and girls were sleeping on the couches that were in Chloe's room, while Logan had fallen asleep in the chair with his head on Chloe's bed, still holding her little hand. The doctor enters the room, waking them up. "Good morning everyone. The papers have arrived from the social workers to start the process, I am really sorry." He don't get any answers, only shocked and sad faces. "You'll have time to say goodbye now, we'll be back in half an hour." And he leaves the room.

"This can't really happen ..." James murmurs.

"It is not fair," Kendall agrees in disbelief, while Logan is in pure hell. "Please, please, please, Chloe, wake up! I don't want to lose you, please!"

"Logan ..." Carlos whispers, looking devastated at the heartbreaking scene in front of him.

"Please, Chloe, please!" Logan continues to talk to the little sleeping girl.

"I don't think there's anything we can do anymore," James tries to talk to Logan, but he won't listen.

"Chloe, please, wake up," Logan whispers, caressing her face.

"Chloe, even though we were together for a short time, I have grown fond of you, please wake up ... please ..."

"The doctor is coming back," Carlos says, standing by the door, looking out in the corridor.

"Please, Chloe, I promise I won't let anything bad happen to you again, I'll protect you. You will have a new home, a new family, I want to adopt you Chloe, I want to be your dad!" Logan cries out, no longer holding back the tears, squeezing and caressing Chloe's small hand.

Suddenly, the machine that was connected to Chloe started to beep and Logan realized that someone was touching his hand. He looks up and finds two small blue eyes staring back at him.

"Chloe ..." Logan whispers in disbelief.

"Will I also have a new mommy and lots of toys?"

"I .... Yes, of course, yes," Logan stutters, still not believing it. Chloe smiles at him. Logan throws himself on top of her, hugging her, holding her close to him.

"I missed you, Logan ..."

"I missed you too, little one, so much."
