“It's ok, James, you're tired. Just go back to bed” I said to him, my hands running along his cheek. He just nodded, not outright refusing like he always does, that's how you know he's really tired. I had a quick, nice warm shower, still remaining as quiet as possible, trying not to wake James up.

I put on a tank top and pyjama pants and brushed my teeth, following my usual routine when all of a sudden I felt someone's arms wrap around my waist, hot breathing over my shoulder. I gazed up into the foggy mirror to see James with his droopy eyes, staring at me through the mirror.
“Why aren't you asleep yet?” I asked him as he buried his face into my neck, his eyes struggling to stay open.

“I need you next to me” he mumbled, slightly blushing. My heart melted. What would he do without me? He took my hand, leaving kisses along my neck.

“Ok Let's get you to bed” he was getting to the point where he was falling asleep on me and one thing about James, once he's asleep it might just take a while for him to get back up. I pulled him to his bed and snuggled in with him.

“I love you” he muffled, his face buried in my chest.

“I do too, James. I do too”
