After texting and facetiming with Beyoncé for a month, she was finally coming to LA to see me! The plan was to pick her up from the airport, take her out to dinner, and then we were going to Kehlani's release party together. But then Reneé called to tell me something....

"So.....Megan wants to come to Kehlani's album release party with me....", she said.

Shit! The last thing I needed was for the girl I was trying to be with to see her ex at a party. "What if old feelings come back as soon as she sees her?" I thought to myself. I wanted to lie and tell Beyoncé the shit was canceled. But she follows Kehlani on social media....which meant she would see pictures of the event and she would know I lied to her. "Reneé, you can't bring her! It's going to be awkward as fuck!", I exclaimed.

"Ok, listen....I know I act all nonchalant about Meg, but truthfully I'm really starting to like her. We've been really bonding for the last four weeks. And.....we sort of had sex for the first time last night", Reneé said. Rushing out the last part.

"Whoa....well how was it?", I asked.

I considered seducing Beyoncé, but I didn't want her to think I only wanted her for sex. I just had to trust that she was really over Megan and I had absolutely nothing to worry about.

Then I wondered if I should mention to Beyoncé that Megan would be at the party. I was worried that if I told her Megan would be there she wouldn't want to go. I couldn't miss my friend's album release party. Kehlani was there when I released my "Happier Than Ever" album and I knew she would be there for my next album release. I had to be there for her. But I wanted Beyoncé to be there with me....

So I decided maybe I shouldn't bring up the fact that Meg would be there. I mean, who brings up a person's ex on their first date anyway?! As much as I still love Ariana, I don't want her name brought up while I'm on a date. I figured it would be best to just pretend I knew nothing about Megan coming to the party. I was just going to keep Beyoncé very entertained and occupied as much as possible. Plus, her friends Rihanna and Nicki Minaj were going to be there. I was sure they would make sure she doesn't double back...And I needed Reneé to make sure Megan doesn't even think about doubling back!

Reneé's P.O.V.

Everyone knows I didnt want to date Megan Thee Stallion and everyone knew the reason why. I was so upset about her fumbling Beyoncé. I'm a huge Beyoncé stan! So just like the rest of the Beyhive, I was upset that Megan had broke her heart.

But after getting to know her, I became very fond of Meg. She's funny and smart. And I admired how she was trying to limit her alcohol intake so that she could make wiser decisions. She was very likeable.....And her sex game was nothing less than excellent!

However, I wasn't expecting Meg to offer to be my date for Kehlani's party. She asked what my plans were for Saturday night, I said I was going to Kehlani's album release party and she asked if I wanted her to be my date. "I mean, I definitely regret fumbling my ex. I won't even lie about that. But at the same time, things happen for a reason. Clearly we just weren't meant to be and I've accepted that. I'm moving forward with you. If that's ok with you of course", Megan replied.

I smiled. "That's fine by me, baby....", I said before kissing her lips.

I texted Billie to let her know that Megan and I were official....

Reneé: "Well guess what....Meg and I are official."

Reneé: "Ikr! But still, we can't get too comfortable. Because even though she said she's accepted that her and Beyoncé aren't meant to be together, I know damn well she would fold if Beyoncé wanted her back. 😭 So it's still on you to make sure Beyoncé doesn't want to go there with Megan again.
