Third Person Point of View
Everyone celebrate the real engagement of Sohee and Seungcheol.
The moment her father knew that the set-up is no longer arrange, after three days, he throw a simple yet luxurious engagement party just for them in Han's Mansion.
The whole courtyard has tables cover with white cover with a simple yet elegant table center piece on top of it. The color theme of the event was white and biege, with an accent of gold.
Delicious food from here to there, chit chat of people with a champagne glass on their hand and practically enjoyed the party.
Only wealthy business men or women came over to congratulate Mr. Han's daughter engagement. Seungcheol's friend's, business partners and investor— loyal and trusted investors— went to the party to congratulate the new couple.
Sohee, on the first place, didn't like the idea of his father throwing a party. She knows the party will turn into small talks between them that lead to negotiation. She doesn't like that idea to make the engagement party for that reason.
Besides, she has low social battery when it comes with other people.
Smiling and talking with other people drains her energy faster even though she also works with different people. But this type of socializing drains her energy faster.
Despite wearing a full glam make up, Seungcheol can still see tiredness on her eyes that not everyone notice.
"Its nice to see you Jihoon again, but we'll excuse for awhile to grab some drink." Seungcheol spoke, ending their getting to know conversation with Sohee.
Sohee got surprise with his action and let her body get drag inside the mansion. She wanted to ask where they going, but tired beats her.
He helds her hand tight yet gently as Seungcheol lead them somewhere to a room. They meet some people on their way to have some small talks with him, but Seungcheol just simple smiled at them and passed them.
Walking for a minute somewhere inside to Han's Mansion, they finally stop to a room. Seungcheol it the inside first to see if it is occuppied, fortunately it was an empty guess room.
"I want you to rest in your bedroom, but we know your father will call for us," Seungcheol spoke gently as he guides her to sit down on the soft mattress of the bed.
Sohee let out a long relieving groan as she finally let her back lay on the bed. "Fuck, it was tiring," She sighs, and kicks her stiletto off her feet.
"Thanks for dragging me here. My social battery only last for two hours. I'm a bit tired." She said.
Seungcheol who took a seat beside her, let out a soft chuckle and took her legs to massage her calves. Sohee sighs in relieve and felt thankful for him just for giving her a massage.
"You look really beautifully, but your eyes screams tiredness to me." He chuckles and focus to massage her semi-swollen legs.
Sohee hums at him. "Socializing with a bit business talk is not my thing."
"Its alright. I'm here to talk them for you," Seungcheol smiled and continue to please his fiance.
"Speaking of business," Sohee said, rise up from the bed with her both arms supporting her weight and stared at him with a hint of interest for him.
