As everyone proceeded to the reception area just inside the hotel after the wedding ceremony, the real fun began.
The biggest function hall of the hotel was well decorated with red roses and a big chandelier in the center. Every delicious meal has been served to guests along with liquor.
The newly wed couple held each other's hand and seized every moment they had right now. Seungcheol would look for his wife from now and then, gently comforting her when he sensed her energy getting slow.
Everyone was in awe and admires when seeing them. For them, they are a perfect couple. A man who has it all and a woman who is well rounded. Surely, they are really suitable for each other.
Partying from here and there, indeed it was a happy day for the newly wed.
But it seems fate would not let them be happy for now. All the happy chattering and jazz music halted when someone barged the double door aggressively, making the guest surprised.
There a man stood in the entrance. He seems to be in his late 50s wearing a black suit and a bunch of body guards behind him.
Seungcheol immediately recognized him. His stood up from his seat that made Sohee confuse seeing him suddenly being protective and his face went stern.
Joshua and Jeonghan also recognize the man who just entered the function hall. They knew very well who just entered. Joshua immediately gave a subtle significant signal to a waiter and Jeonghan ready his gun that was hidden behind him, also clutching his girlfriend tightly.
Everyone was silent as they watched the man walk towards the couple at the end of the function hall with his men following behind him.
Just then, the man smiled mockingly at Seungcheol.
"I'm upset son," he spoke with a fake tone of disappointment. "How can you not invite your uncle?"
Sohee's ears perk up and unconscious stand up beside Seungcheol, but he stops her. He then tried to hide her body as if protecting him from the old man.
"Last time I checked, you're not my uncle." Seungcheol spoke cold and bluntly. "And if you are, you wont give me a death threat."
The man chuckles at him and stares at Seungcheol with glare. "Oh come on son, it's not like you don't know me at all."
Seungcheol let out a scoff and smirk. "I actually do know you so well."
"Cheol, who is he?" Sohee asked, loud enough that the man could also hear.
"Aigoo! What a pretty wife you have Choi!" The man spoke with fake enthusiasm and an eerie smile.
"I'm Cha Eunseong! Your husband's uncle!"
"He's just no one baby," Seungcheol said coldly.
"Oh don't be rude son." He said and rolled his eyes at him. He took a step forward but the couple stepped back fully alert.
"Baby," Seungcheol whispers.
"When I punch him, run to the exit." he whispers in a hurry that she barely hears.
Sohee was confused at first but she can sense that he is no good. Yet she still can't help but wonder why she needs to run. Who is this guy who just barged into the room without their permission?
She was so confused why Seungcheol instructed her, however, when he threw a blow to the man's face that the time everything went chaotic at the same time her cue to run away to the nearest exit.
