Saros Pov
We walked quietly by the beach as we made our way to the open Plains. Which is where we would stay for a while Elan did not say how long, but he said we needed to learn how this place worked and how to keep ourselves safe from all the monsters..... that feels wrong to say People in this small world It had been more quiet after what Lucien had said.... Were they not able to feel?... seems like it with how they fight.
I sighed deeply and bumped shoulders with Lucien to remind him I was there and I saw a small smile from the corner of my eye. So, I think my small acted helped him a little. Luke stopped for a second, his horse like ears moved as they listened. I made myself breathe more quietly after that. Elan sees this and stops as well, seems like his hearing is not as good as Luke
I looked over to the sea, seeing something before I was quietly pushed to the trees by Luke and Elan dragged Lucien without a word. It seemed like he was about to say something before he saw what was in the water I was pushed to sit behind a tree and bushes when the sound of water moving and a deep growl made my skin crawl and my eyes go wide We all sat quietly as it pulled itself up and up from the water, the running of water like what you would hear from a waterfall could be heard as I saw it A sea serpent(?) I could not understand it and I could feel a hand move and grab a hold of mind and hold it like the world would rip if it let go It was big and it seem like it was looking for something White glowing eyes opened and looked to the woods as a low growl came from its throat I could see their rib cage from here... It made a deep sound in its throat as it opens it's mouth and sword like teeth were all I could see It had something on.... A ripped outline of what used to be a shark onesie but you could not tell only for the teeth of the outfit still there some how and the color from the outfit was taken away by the years in the water. The upper half of the serpent body had a human body attached to it. Like how Luke was, scars ran over the body of both from what I could see.... It let out a raw growl from its mouth as one of its hands, one that was keeping the big thing up moved and slammed into the trees moving them to the side and ripping a lot more from the ground I was shaking when it did so, my hand held onto Lucien's with fear as another arm pulled me to their side and stayed quiet and unmoving Elan started "His name was shark" He said in a whisper he never stopped facing the massive being "He use to be like us before all of this started and we were locked away...." He continued his clawed hands digging into the dark grass under him "This is what will happen if we turn like him... become lost and forgotten of who we are and who we once's were" He said as "shark" ripped another tree from the ground and tossed it behind him, making a wave with the tree hitting the water and going underneath I took a shaking breath as I heard a sound to the left and saw one of the Wendigo in the tree watching the sea beast do as it pleases Not like the Wendigo can stop it with how big he was... I just stayed close to Lucien, wrapping an arm around him and stayed close as I waited... as we waited for it to leave
