Experiment Gone Wrong (Httyd modern au)

Chapter 1

Six teens were in a laboratory, each in a tube, hooked up to machines. The machines monitored their pulses and breathing. They all looked completely normal, unless you took into account of their wings and tail.

These teens weren't normal. In fact they were far from normal, they were genetically modified. They had dragon DNA flowing in their veins. Now, you may think this is insane and completely crazy, but Alpha Bewilderbeast Corp(ABB) were very bold, they took risks, a lot of risks. They didn't care how it would affect the society, as long their "experiments" worked. They had done countless experiments on humans, but most of them failed. Except, Project Hybrid.

These teens were taken from their families, to be experimented. Their parents were drugged into forgetting about them. The government was aware of these experiments, but they took no action to stop it from happening. Bewilderbeast Corp had done this splicing gene thing on another subject before . The Red Death they called her.

There were 4 males and 2 females in the group. The first male was a bit of a runt, he had auburn hair and brilliant green eyes, one would be hypnotized if they stare into them for too long. He had the DNA of the Night fury.

The next teen was also a male. He was a beefy, short and stocky boy, he had black hair and Amberish-blue eyes. He had red and black wings and the DNA of a Monstrous Nightmare.

A chubby teen with short blonde hair and light-blue eyes was next. He was infused with the DNA of a gronckle.

The next teen or should I say teens were twins. A boy and a girl, both had dirty blonde hair and dark blue eyes. They had Zippleback wings and tail. their tails were wrapped around eachother as is they were one.

The last teen was a girl. She had golden blonde which, cascaded down her shoulders and was tied in a braid and gorgeous sapphire blue eyes. She had a tail full of razor sharp spines, some of them having been laced with venom, she also had blue wings with specks of yellow and gold on them. She was infused with the DNA of a Deadly Nadder.

One of the new "recruits", was fiddling with one of the buttons on the Night fury experiment.

"DAGUR! what are you doing?! your not meant to touch anything!" another recruit, Eert, the son of Eret yells.

"Hey Eret? which button makes the human beast move?" Dagur asks pointing towards the controls, ignoring Eert's previous lash-out. "The now that says tail Dagur!" Eret says visibly alarmed. Eret grabs the controller from Dagur and puts it aside as he pushes Dagur out the room unaware that he'd accidently pushed the "wake" button instead of the ''tail flick" one.

Moments later, a huge crash is heard as the Night fury experiment wakes up and to his horror finds himself in a tube. He rips one of the cords that are attached to him, This caused Eret who came running in after hearing the noise to stumble back and activate the others.

The Deadly Nadder was the first one to break out of the tube along with the twins, they all rush to help the others out of their prisons. The Night fury was slower and weaker though and needed help to get steady. They all stared attacking the scientists and made a break for the exits.

Unfortunately, for the teens, several guards were blocking their exit. The Nadder girl managed to figure out she could throw her spines and defeated the guards quickly. All 6 teens rush into an alleyway, hiding out from the guards.

There was awkward silence between the teens as they stare at each other.

"I guess we should interduce ourselves now?" the Gronkel guy asked

"Stating the oblivious huh?" the Night fury guy asked

"Just trying to lighten the mood.. heh." The Gronkel guy looked extremely shy, the Night fury kid felt the same.

"I'm Hayden"

"Ava"

"Finn"

"Tom"

"Rachel"

All 5 teens turn around and face the guy with oily black hair.

"What?". All of them facepalm

"Name dude!" Tom asks

"Oh.. right! I'm the one and only Scott!" They all sigh. "This guy seems like a whole lot of trouble..." thought Hayden

"How did this happen?!" Scott asks gesturing to his wings and tail.

"yeah.. How..?" Ava looks at her speckled wings and strokes them. She had read in a book that dragons once lived and roamed the earth and even today still do, but she never really believed in them until now. She was literal, living proof that dragons still exists. In fact they all were living proof that dragons exist.

"Fascinating, they must have spliced our genes with dragon DNA! I wonder what dragon am I? A Gronkel by the looks of it." Finn says excitedly while staring at his small wings in amazement.
