Chapter 8

"Kill me now." Hiccup groaned. Today was the first day of school and he never remembered it being this boaring.




Oh wait.



Thats because he dosnt remember anything.


Astrid snorted from her place next to him. She, unlike him, kept her mouth shut and listened to their home room teacher, Mrs. Zhang, a short curly haired teacher talk about getting along and all.


Please,



This is Highschool.



They left that all behind in 8th grade. This is senior year. Or Hell year as Hookfang called it.



Hiccup and Astrid, who had homeroom together, picked seats at the back of the classroom to avoid drawing attention to themselves.



Their powers were still unpredictable and sometimes weird things happen if their emotions get out of control or experience a strong emotion.


"Like boredom." Hiccup mumbled under his breath. Astrid threw her pencil at him and hit his head. His head shot up and he sent a glare at her.



She sent a glare back at him with her peirceing blue eyes. He just stuck his tounge out at her like a mature teen he is.



"Mr Harrison do you have something to share? You seemed to be a little busy messing around with Miss Valkery." Mrs Zhang asked sweetly. Kids in their class snickered as the attention was suddenly drawn to them.



He heard Asttud cursed under her breath while Hiccup shook his head quickly.



As Mrs. Zhange was about to ask another question, he was saved by the bell. Litterly.


He got up and rushed out the door with Astrid in toe.


"Oh good one Hiccup. The one thing we were told not to do, you do." Hiccup rolled his eyes and replied sarcastically, "What? Breath?" Astrid lifted her arm and socked him in the shoulder. He yelped in pain and clutched his shoulder.



They walked into second block and sat down next to Toothless who was dressed in black, somewhat similar to what Hiccup was wearing but at the same time completely different.




They sat down in Math and listened to Mrs. Jackson ramble on.

"I hate school." Snotlout muttered as he threw himself on the couch in their some-what home. The warehouse had become a safe haven and prison of sorts.



The twins were lounging next to Snotlout and were using some tablets that Barf and Belch provided for them. "At least Science was fun." Tuffnut said as he scrolled through something.



"That's because you two blew a hole in the wall. And on the first day!" Fishlegs yelled from his computer monitor as he surveyed the street cameras.



"Hey, have you guys seen Astrid and Hiccup?" Ruffnut yelled from her perch on the couch.



"On Patrol!" They heard Toothless and Stormfly yelled at the same time. Toothless from workshop he often shared with Hiccup and Meatlug and Stormfly from somewhere around the weapons room.

"So what do you have now Sharpshot?"Astrid asked as she landed in the forest outside the city perimeters.


"I had Iggy and Sneaky track down the truck and found that she was taken to the underground. I had Iggy try and hack their system but they had some high-tech encryption installed.


"So maybe they are part of some organization we might see in the future." Hiccup asked as he started pacing. Sharpshot and Astrid watched as he paced back and forth.


"They may be even more aggressive then the outcasts, or the beserkers, and maybe even more then Drago!" He rambled on as he ran his fingers through his hair. Astrid rolled her eyes and stopped him from pacing by putting a hand on his shoulder.



"Hiccup, stop worrying about that. Right now we have to deal with the problems at the present and one of them is school and Project Razorwip." Hiccup sighed and rubbed his face with his hands.
