Chapter 7

"Tell me again why I agreed to this?" Fishlegs squeaked out as he shakily landed on top of a building.




"Because you guys all need to get onto the field, you wont learn much if you are stuck inside all day." Hiccup responded over his shoulder as he kept looking for something. Astrid joined him at his side and looked at the horizon, searching for something as well.




"But I don't want to look like an idiot standing out here."Snotlout wined as he landed behind Fishlegs. "Too late late, you already looked like an idiot since day one." Ruffnut said, joined by her brother who laughed at him.




Snotlout grumbled, clearly annoyed, but before he could protest, Hiccup pointed to something hidden by the setting sun. They all had to squint to be able to make out what they were seeing.



It was a child, no older then 10 was walking quietly with his head down. He was dressed in dark green and had reddish hair.



Hiccups face lit then he frowned. He turned to Astrid. "Um shouldn't there be 5 more with him?" Suddenly realidation hit him.




It dremed Astrid undrrstood what he ment and with lightening fast reflexes she lifted a wing to shield herself from a small boy jumping at her head.




"Sneaky, dammit! Get off!" She growled and shook her wing. He dropped to the ground with a huff.



"Whatever Astrid." He grumbled and shook himself. Everyone gasped. Two reasons.




"He's a hybrid!" Was squeaked by Fishlegs.



"He's not the only one." Said a small feminine voice. They all turned and saw a 5 more kids, all roughly the same age. At the front of the little group was the same kid they saw coming their way.

"Down to business, as usual." He shook his hand, then pointed his head to the the others behind him who still had their jaws open. "Who are they? And are they trustworthy?"



"Dont worry, they are the gang. Hybrids like me and Astrid. Yes you can trust them too." He replied. As Sharpshot was about to say something else, Fishlegs butt in.




"Um, are they hybrids too?" He asked as he looked closer at the girl who backed up into one of the boys who growled at Fishlegs and Snotlout.


"Yeah, and who exactly are they?" Asked Snotlout who was follow by the twins. "And how much destruction can they cause?"


"One question at a time please." Hiccup said as he raised his hands to calm them down. They ignored him and got closer tp the kids.


He looked over to Astrid and gave a pleading look for help.


She grumbled something then shot spines down the middle between the kids and the gang.
"Until we explain. No one crosses this line. Deal?" It wasn't really a question but they all mumbled yes.


"Okay! For your first question. Yes they are hybrids. They are called Terrible Terrors, dragons which are naturally small. Thats why they look like kids. They are actully around, what 15-16 years old right now." Hiccup answered.



Astrid answered the other question. "You already know sharpshot and sneaky. Their names pretty much say who theu are. Sharpshot is deadly with his pistol and sneaky almost murdered me," at this she shot a glare at said terror who responded with a shrug. "Iggy is the young girl and the brains of thwir group. Head and Butt, twin brats over their. "Said Terrors responded with a hey but got shushed by Iggy. And lastly, Pain. Do I need to say more?"


"These guys get us information in return for revenge against our creators."


"Hes being emo right now." Sharpshot said buntly.



"Am not! Im not even emo!" Pain shot back, but before Sharpshot could respond back Iggy got between them. She puffed out hers wings to keep the two and bay abd growled.



She turned back to the gang. "We are also all realted. We are all cousins. Im the youngest but am what they call "The mom friend."


Sharpshot grumbled and kept glaring at Pain. Head and Butt just watched them. Waiting for them to continue arguing.


Sneaky rolled his eyes. "Lets ignore the last question and do what we came here for."



Hiccup coughed and shuffled his wings. "Right, you said you had some info?"


Shaprshot looked up and nodded his head. He took out a photo from his pocket and gave it too Hiccup.


"They have two new projects. Project Flightmare and Project Razorwhip. Project Flightmare was shipped out this morning." He pulled out another photo and gave them to Hiccup.


The first showed a blond girl with glowing wings and tail in a cage, knocked out and tied down, being loaded into a truck. The next showed a black haired girl alseep in a white room with metal wings.
