I stood there for quite a while, staring at the door behind which Satoru disappeared. It was always the same, he blocked me, he pushed me away from him. Every time I tried to get closer to him, tried to get to know him, he blocked me. I grabbed my head again and held on to my desk. Suddenly I felt dizzy and stumbled forwards slightly.I closed my eyes and tried to breathe. In and out until I felt better and the dizziness disappeared again. I supported myself with both hands on the desk and then dropped into the desk chair. I rubbed my tired eyes and picked up my mobile phone. I read Toji's message to myself and nodded thoughtfully. Then I texted Yuji, whom I hadn't seen for a while.

> Hello my bestie, would you like to go shopping? <, I asked, slowly getting up and leaving the office again.

YUJI: > Tell me when and where. It's about time I saw my best friend again. < he replied.

"Miss Y/N," Rosell smiled at me as I walked to mine and Satoru's room.

I smiled too, but more because the memory of Satoru surprising me with Rosell's arrival shortly after we returned from our honeymoon. I was really happy that day."Rosell can you please help me get ready, I'm about to meet Yuji and we're going shopping," I asked her as she held the door open for me and nodded."Of course, Miss Y/N," she said and closed the door behind her. While she was doing my hair, I looked at my mobile phone again.

>How about inside the city in 30 minutes? <, I asked.

YUJI: >I'll be there in 10. Wait for you xoxo<

I shook my head with a grin and got ready. Then I took the black card from Satoru and put it in my handbag."Take care, Miss Y/N," Rosell said goodbye to me.I gave her a hug. "Can you please look after Satoru and maybe make him a coffee? He seemed pretty tired earlier," I whispered to her and she nodded. It wasn't the first time I'd asked Rosell to do something like that. Even though I didn't always show it, I was very worried about Satoru. Since we'd been back, he'd changed and even though I hardly said anything about his drug use, I was always afraid that I'd wake up next to him and he'd stop breathing."Thank you," I whispered and left the estate.Suddenly, someone honked as I walked to the outside. I looked at the car parked outside the entrance and walked to the bottom of the stairs. The person rolled down the tinted window and asked: "Taxi, please?"I looked at him, confused, until I realised it was Yuji. I immediately started laughing."You really are the best!" I shouted and walked the last few metres to his car with quick steps. I leant down to his window. "You're a real sweetheart!" I grinned and got into the car. "How are you?" I asked as I fastened my seatbelt and then greeted Yuji with a kiss on the cheek."Fine," he replied and pushed down his sunglasses. "And how-" he wanted to ask and stopped. "Are you all right? Shit, Y/N all right, you're totally pale!""What? Oh rubbish, I'm fine," I lied and smiled. "Really. And now get going, unfortunately I don't have forever. The birthday party I've been invited to today starts at 10 p.m. and I still have to get changed," I explained quickly so that he would stop looking at me like that.He frowned, but started the engine."Riko's party?" he asked, steering onto the road and then towards the city.I looked at him in surprise. "You're invited too?" I asked. He nodded and grinned at me. "Yep. What do you say we go together," he said and slowed down again. "Oh, that's settled, you're probably going with your MAN," he continued, making an exaggerated grimace to cheer me up.I had to laugh, for a moment I really had to laugh honestly. I scrutinised Yuji a little longer and just felt at ease. I should have contacted him earlier. He really had a way of cheering me up."Well... we can go together. Satoru has ..." I explained and stopped. I looked down at my hands sadly, but took a deep breath shortly and then looked up again with a smile. "I'm only going to meet Satoru there," I explained to him and then changed the subject. "So I got a list from Riko's husband and there was a point that she likes to wear special necklaces and I know a shop where you can buy real diamond necklaces and have a picture or text carved into the diamond," I said, scrolling through my mobile phone. "I've got a picture here from Instagram of Riko and Toji and I think I'll have that worked into the diamond so she can see the picture from every angle and of course as a heart shape," I continued and looked at Yuji excitedly."Tell me, are you sitting on a gold mine that I don't know about? You do realise how expensive the place is, don't you?" he asked."Yes, I do know. But Satoru gave me his black card, so I guess money is no longer a problem," I replied and saw a multi-storey car park. "Do you want to park there?" I asked, pointing in that direction.Getting a parking space in the city was always a horror, so the multi-storey car parks were really perfect, even if they were expensive, at least for normal people."Oh right, you've got a Suga-Daddy now who's showering you with money," he joked, but only half-jokingly."Yes, that's right. It's unbelievable. Satoru really does buy me everything I want. A lot has changed since I got married. But I'm beginning to understand the saying that money alone doesn't make you happy," I said and laughed half-heartedly.He parked, got out and held the door open for me. "What's your boyfriend up to that you're only meeting there? I mean, not that I mind, after all, I've had you after ... what? Five weeks for me again?"I got out of the car too."Thank you, gentleman," I thanked him and left the car park with Yuji and strolled through the city "He's ... busy," I replied. "Exactly, that's why we're not going to talk about him any more and just have a fun day today," I conceded more quickly than expected. But I wanted to talk about Satoru as little as possible. Because the more I talked about him, the more I was in danger of breaking down in front of Yuji, and I didn't want my best friend to get mad and make Satoru feel stupid again.Things had just gotten a little quieter between the two of them, which probably had something to do with the fact that I hadn't seen Yuji. But I didn't want to disturb the peace."So you don't have to tell me twice, pretty. If there's one thing I don't want, it's to talk about your ass of a forced husband," he relented happily. "Just one more thing," he continued, looking at me. "Does he know you're travelling with me? Just for the record, that I ... well, don't say anything wrong. I don't want to shake young happiness," he asked.I smirked at his words and looked at Yuji."No... He doesn't know," I replied and he didn't really seem to care. I thought and shook my head, not wanting to think about him leaving. "But maybe I'll text him shortly to tell him I'm coming to party with you. Just so he knows," I said quickly and picked up my mobile phone. I wrote a message.
