Wherever you stay I follow,
I am begging for you to take my hand,
Wreck my plans,
That's MY MAN". 💗

I woke up to see my bedside empty. And as I looked at squinting my eyes I saw Arjun standing in front of the mirror and wearing his tie.

"Good Morning". I spoke with a small smile playing on my lips.

"Good Morning Jaan". He walked towards me, placing a small kiss on my forehead and a smile lingering on his face.

Oh the day is going to be beautiful today!!

My eyes moved towards his tie which was just hanging on his neck. I pulled him close by pulling his tie and helped him by tying it.

"You look handsome today." I said looking at him and he smiled. The smile never leaving his lips.

"Thanks, Jaan. You always know how to start my day right." He said kissing the side of my head.

"Don't move, stay still". I said and he laughed. I finished tying.

"There, all set. Now go conquer the day, Mr. Raivansh". I said and he grinned.

"Only with you by my side. Tonight, dinner at that new place that Arnav suggested?"

"Sounds perfect. Can't wait." I spoke.

"Me neither. Alright, off to work. See you tonight, spend your day off well, I love". He smiled, kissing my forehead, his lips lingering there for almost a minute.

And he left. I was lost in my own reverie.

As he kissed me goodbye and uttered those three words, I felt a pang of guilt and uncertainty wash over me. I watched him leave, his warmth lingering in the room, and realised he did not expect me to say it back. It wasn't that I didn't feel it-I did, deeply-but I struggled to voice it aloud, even to him.

My thoughts raced as I tidied up, replaying our exchange in my mind. I knew he understood my hesitance; he always did. He never pressured me, always patient and understanding. Yet, I couldn't shake the feeling that created a turmoil inside me.

Sitting down with a cup of coffee, I reflected on our relationship, how effortlessly he expressed his love and how much I cherish all of his words.

I felt as if I wasn't doing right to him, It wasn't fair to him or the love he showed towards me. And my thoughts broke when my phone rang.
