Olivia:
-"Time to get up." Mum opened the curtains and the sun hit my eyes.
I groaned and threw my pillow over my head.-"Ma,just three more minutes..Go bother Kayan instead..." I said with a yawn.
Mum sighed as she took the pillow away from my hands.
-"Get up now, I won't ask again. I have to leave for work in ten minutes and Dad has already left."
I got up and stretched out my arms. I glanced at the clock. I still had some time to get ready for school.
I walked to my closet and grabbed a red crop top and some blue baggy jeans with stars. My hair wasn't that much of a mess so it could work I guess. I threw my bag over my shoulder and walked downstairs.
-"Morning." I said to Kayan and Stanley before opening the door.
-"Wait for me." Kayan said and got up from his chair.
-"Where's mum? Did she leave already?" I asked as he held the door open for Stanley.
-"Yup left just a while ago. I mean you take forever to get ready." He replied with a cocky smirk.
I rolled my eyes and patted Stanley's hair.
-"Stop doing that. You'll ruin it." He yanked my hand away.
-"Ooh what's the rush?" I asked playfully.
-"I have to get to school you know. I have work to do. And girls to impress." Stanley said before turning on his heel and walking away from us.
I laughed out loud and grabbed Kayan's forearm for support as he stayed there his jaw on the floor.
-"He's not even 13 yet—!" He managed to say as he yanked his arm off me.
Someone walked towards us and threw both his arms on our shoulders.
-"My favourite best friends." Aaron said as he pulled as close. "I adore you both so much."
-"What do you want?" I turned around to face him.
-"How bold of you to assume that I want something!" He made a dramatic face. "Can we skip school today?"
I rolled my eyes. Of course. Kayan shrugged.
-"Why not? Who will see us anyway?"
-"Let me remind you all that Uncle Jamie is our math teacher," I interrupted, "So he will definitely see we are missing."
-"Literally only you and Rui have with him today!" Aaron whined. "Uncle Jamie won't notice." He added.
-"I agree. Come on sis, break out from this monotony!" Kayan shot me a look.
I folded my arms as my eyes darted from Kayan to Aaron and Aaron to Kayan.
-"Absolutely not. I'm a good girl I don't skip school." I said.
Kayan shrugged and walked over to a friend while Aaron stayed with me. He leaned forward until he was close enough and his voice dropped to a whisper.
-"Good girls can do bad things sometimes." He locked eyes with me before smiling and walking away with Kayan.
Was I blushing over something Aaron Reynolds had said?
-"Can't blame you." Stella approached me. "He's one of the most good looking guys in the grade anyway." She shrugged.
-"I don't like Aaron for the love of god. You know that my mom and his dad were friends back in the day and she helped Uncle Connor find his older brother." I started explaining without breath.
