The bustle of the people in the airport made the atmosphere somewhat nauseous for the Japanese Defense Corps Officer despite her various experiences in handling Kaijus for the past 3 years overseas.

"It's hard to see you go, Officer Shinomiya. I sure do wish we, in the American Neutralization Association, could be able to have you on the team as you have been a major factor in the quality and quantity of monster subjugations here in the US." The Deputy Director had personally accompanied the Foreign officer to the airport to send her off while attempting to still persuade her into staying for good. "Is there any way that we could somehow change your mind 'til the last second before you board your plane, Officer?"

The Deputy Director smiled at the lady officer in high hopes as the lady officer turned around and saluted the Director.

"It is with great honor that I am able to serve and learn from the Association Deputy Director," the Lady stood firmly and confidently spoke to the man, "however, I still took an oath to serve my country. I wish to return home immediately to use these new weapons of knowledge that I am thankful to gain under you and your people's guidance."

The Director let out a chuckle and saluted back to the Lady Officer, "Oh please, we should be the ones thanking you for your time and service here. We are grateful for your presence Officer Yuuki Shinomiya."

The Lady Officer was taken aback by the name that the Director had addressed her. Yuuki. It has been a while since she had heard that name, here in the US she was either addressed with her title and last name or her English name, Faith. It felt refreshing as nostalgia hit her for a second before she smiled at the Deputy Director once again and nodded her head.

They both shook their hands and the few officers whome became her colleagues in this place saluted at her and bid farewell as she took her luggage in her hand and turned around to board her plane.

"See ya again, Faith!"

"Be careful out there officer Faith."

"We'll miss you, Faith."

"Make sure to visit us sometime."

She waved her hand towards the people she worked with and walked off. Although she heard the last one very clearly, she had a feeling that it woud be hard to see them for a while. But she will miss them too, she hopes she gets a chance to see them in the future once more.

Many eyes followed her as countless citizens were wondering about who was the person that the Deputy Director of the American Neutralization Association had sent off along with the Alpha Troop Division, a famous and the strongest Division in America. There were whispers and even small cheers as a few-- maybe more than half of the people present, who had recognized the young Lady Officer that had served in their country helping with the monster subjugations which led to a massive drop in the fatality rate in the recent years that she had been present.

It was The foreign Lady Officer Faith aka Yuuki Shinomiya. The Japanese Officer, daughter of the Deputy General of Japanese Defense Corp.

Well, adoptive daughter, and she is finally coming home from her mission after 3 years of service in the US.

"Miss Faith, I hope you enjoy your flight with us. If ever you need anything, please do not hesitate to call us. We'll gladly be of service to you." The pilot came down from the cockpit to personally greet her in her seat. The officer shifted awkwardly in her seat as many eyes had already found her, they were in the economy class of the aircraft, that's why the mere presence of the pilot attracted this much attention.

"This was the reason why she chose to fly in economy.." she whispered in her mother tongue. "Please be at ease, Captain.I assure you that I am fine and woukld like to settle down as quickly. I wish to be at home so much as I miss it, being away for 3 years and all." Letting out a small chuckle, and the pilot finally obliged and shook her hand once more before leaving to go to the cockpit.

"Haa.." She sighed and slid on her seat after the relentless offering of service from the pilot. She looked at the window beside her and  thought to herself.

She's finally coming home, after 3 whole years straight. During her mission overseas, Yuuki hadn't had a chance to go home to visit her home country due to her busy schedule and even the association trying to stop her from leaving.

Sitting up straight and putting her head on her hand to look out of the plane as it started to move, she silently murmured complaints from her experience with the associations treatment. Although her Father would for sure be delighted that a big country, like America, is seeing the potential of his daughter and that she is one priceless asset to have under their command, she still thinks that prohibiting a child from even visiting her home for a few days is a bit overkill.

"Dear passengers, we have arrived in Japan, please put on your seatbealts and prepare for landing." The announcement repeated only this time it was followed with the local language of Nihongo as most of the passengers present are Japanese, save for a few foreigners.

As she settled down after getting a few hours of sleep and uncomfortable rest, she once again buckled up and looked at the view of her country outside the aircraft's window. The comforting yet unfamiliar scenery of Japan's landscape came into sight and she basked in the warm feeling that engulfed her heart at the moment.

Getting somewhat emotional, albeit holding it back furiously, she cracked a small smile on her face as pure bliss from the realization that dawned onto her.

She was finally going home.
