Scarletts POV :

(A couple of days later)

I wake up to my alarm ringing, meaning it was 6:30 and time to get ready for the day. Today is the last day of term, meaning we get 2 weeks off. I get up and get dressed in a navy blue crew neck, white jeans and my navy blue Gazelles, I quickly pack my bag and by now it's 7:00, so I head into the kitchen, where I find Josh sitting at the breakfast bar eating cereal.

'Morning,' I say, 'Sleep good?'

'Yeah pretty good, it took me a while to get to sleep though I could hear you giggling all night.' Josh mocked.

'No you didnt.'

'Yes i did. Anyways, who are you giggling over?'

'You'll have to wait and see.' I say with a wink as Adam comes into the kitchen. 'We are going out tonight at 7:30, be ready when i get home.'

'But you get home at like 4:30.' Josh questions.

'I have to do parent-teacher conferences, and my last one is at 6:50, so I'll be home by 10 past 7.' I say, putting my lunch in my bag.

'ahh okay.'

'Thanks so much for coming!' I say to the last parent as her and her son leave, i go over to Harpers table. 'All done?'

'Nope, still one more, but they're already 10 minutes late so i'm just going to leave.' Harper says closing her laptop.

'ohh okay, are you still coming tonight?'

'of course! thats a stupid question.' She says as i roll my eyes and pick up my bag. 'see you later!'

'Bye harps.'

I get into my car and quickly check my phone to see that i have 2 missed calls from
Josh and 3 from Adam, so i call Josh back as his are the most recent.

'Hello?' I say when he answers.

'Oh my god finally you answered.'

'Why did you call me? is everything okay?'

'Oh yeah me and Adam don't know what we're supposed to wear tonight.'

'Are you being serious? and its "Adam and I" just wear what you normally would, we are literally going to a bar.'

'Scary, teacher Scarlett is coming out.' Josh teases and i can hear Adam laugh in the background.

'No, you just used the wrong grammar to an english teacher.'

'Yeah whatever, thats all.'

'Okay, see you later.' I say with a laugh as i hang up.

I get home and park my car in front of the house and walk in to find Adam and Josh both sat on the couch ready to go out. Unfortunately, Kimmy and Georgie had to go back to Queensland because Kimmy plays for the Queensland Firebirds. I say a quick hello before going up to my bedroom to get ready. I pull my hair back into a pony tail, pulling a couple bits out from the front. I get dressed in a strapless black dress with a black blazer to go on top as it's going to be cold tonight. I sit down at my vanity, touching up my make up before heading into the lounge to find Adam and Josh.
