" sooyoung asked, as yeri laughed from the other line. sooyoung was standing infront of a place she had never wanted to come back to, but yeri had convinced her to be brave and fight for herself. " usually, i would have been happy to visit jaehyun and his parents, but now, after what she did to me, i do not want to. "

" with what is that woman even happy ? " sooyoung asked, rolling her eyes. mrs. sung began laughing, as sooyoung walked towards the dining room. she made slow steps, and as she reached the door, she took a deep breath. she had to talk to them.

sooyoung opened the door. mr. jeong, who was scrolling on his phone, looked up from the screen. a small smile appeard on his face, as sooyoung bowed towards them. mrs. jeong then cleared her throat, as sooyoung turned to her.

" what a surprise from you, sooyoung. " mr. jeong said, as sooyoung turned to him. " jaehyun went to the bathroom, but he promised to return. i have to ask you, but what brings you here ? " he asked, as sooyoung began laughing.

" well, you see, as yeri and sicheng's wedding is approaching, and i wanted to go to this event with my boyfriend, who is doyoung, i also wanted to come and.. talk to you. " sooyoung said, as a scoff was heard from mrs. jeong. " i also wanted to ask why. why did you tell the journalists to write that about me ? "

mrs. jeong widened her eyes. she looked up to sooyoung, as jaehyun enterd the room. he looked at the two women, seeing that his father was confused by what was happening. silence fell into the room, as sooyoung waited for mrs. jeong to give her answer.

" i did not do a single thing. " mrs. jeong looked up, as sooyoung let out a scoff. she shook her head, hearing mrs. jeong's words. it was unbelieveable. after so many clues leading up to her, she was not willing to confess. " why are you accusing me of it ? "

" because it was you who did it ! " sooyoung yelled, as jaehyun continued to stand behind her. " why ?! " she continued to yell, as a tear escaped her eye. she quickly wiped it off, looking away. she spotted jaehyun, who looked down. " are you that angry that i left your son ? " she asked.

" shut up ! " mrs. jeong got up, as sooyoung began laughing. " you betrayed my son. how can you even go and date someone else, after crying over him and being said about your relationship with him ? " she yelled, as jaehyun widened his eyes.

" mother, we talked about this. sooyoung had every single right to go to doyoung. he has been the love of her life, and i feel okay with her going out and dating other people. afterall, why should i mess with her personal life ? " jaehyun said, as mr. jeong let out a small sigh.

he did not have much idea of what was happening. due to him being at work, he did not get to speak much to his wife or son. when he was at home, jaehyun was either not home, or he was in his room, and mrs. jeong was planning her next hair or nail appointement.
