44 | you know, it is not easy.

yeri could not remember when sicheng parked the car in the driveway. she had fallen asleep, while sicheng drove away from the town. she felt terrible about leaving the town, one that was extremely special to her. she smiled towards sicheng, as the two got out of the car. they walked towards the door, slowly opening it.

" louis is with ningning, right ? " yeri asked, as sicheng nodded. she nodded, placing her purse on the coffee table. sicheng walked closer to yeri, pulling her into a hug. he placed a soft kiss on the top of head, as yeri let out a laugh. " sicheng, can you believe we are married ? i can not believe it ! "

" well, neither can i. however, i am happy to know that we are. i am going to live the rest of my life with you, because you are the love of my life. " sicheng could feel a few tears dropping on his cheek, as yeri wiped it off. she let out a laugh, resting her head on his chest.

" i love you, sicheng. you are the love of my life, too. i can not imagine my life without you, love. " yeri said, as she looked up to him. they continued to hug for a few minutes, until yeri pulled out of their hug. " me and sooyoung are going out for lunch, then we are going to the spa. "

" spa ? you two have already made a spa appointement ? " sicheng asked, as yeri let out a laugh. he took out his wallet, beginning to search for his credit card. " i am going to give you my card, because you should pay for the spa. if sooyoung insists on paying, tell her that you are married now. "

" i used to pay with your card even before we were even married. " yeri let out a laugh, as sicheng took out the credit card. he handed it over to yeri, who placed a kiss on his cheek. she placed the credit card in her wallet, taking the purse. " sooyoung said that we are going now, so, goodbye ! " she waved towards sicheng, leaving.

yeri walked out of her house. she quickly texted sooyoung, letting her know that yeri was waiting for her. however, yeri was confused by sooyoung, due to the fact that she had mentioned that she and doyoung were supposed to go together.

was there anything wrong between them ? why did sooyoung choose to ask yeri instead ? yeri hoped that everything was well between the two, as it was a relationship that yeri wished for her friend. it was a healthy one, unlike the one she had with jaehyun.

sooyoung replied to her text. yeri smiled at the message, placing her phone in her purse. she walked around the sidewalk, until sooyoung parked her car infront of her. yeri walked up to the car, getting in it. she waved towards sooyoung, who seemed to be sad.

" is everything okay ? " yeri asked, as sooyoung nodded. yeri put on her seatbelt, deciding it would be best to leave it as it is, for now. they were about to go to the spa, which meant that sooyoung was going to open up to yeri there, instead of talking through the car ride. " are you sure ? "

" yes, everything is fine. how was your town ? did you really get water thrown on you ? was it cold ? " sooyoung turned to her friend, as yeri was suddently overwhelmed by the amount of questions sooyoung had asked her. " sorry, i am just very curious. i am guessing you liked it. "

" yes, it was, indeed, cold water, but sicheng was the one who was shocked by it. i had seen this tradition go down many times, so nothing was surprising anymore. " yeri smiled  as she looked on her phone. " sooyoung, wasn't doyoung supposed to be the one you were going to bring to the spa ? "

sooyoung let out a sigh. she shook her head, as yeri raised her eyebrow. she surely remembered the text sooyoung had sent her not a long time ago, telling yeri how excited she was to take doyoung to the spa. his back pain had returned, and he was supposed to attend a tournament.

" well, actually, we were supposed to go. however, he texted me last minute that he can not come, because he was too hungry to come, and he had practice. " sooyoung said, as yeri could tell she was about to cry. " then, i called him, told him that he had promised me, and he yelled at me. "
