Happy 4th of July or should I say happy belated 4th of July. I had an absolute blast spending time with friends and loved ones and let's just say got a tad bit drunk, but It will be our little secret. Anyway I was inspired so I thought I would write something from that night so credits to my significant other. Hope u guys had a great 4th of July and if u don't celebrate it I hope u had a great day none the less. Don't forget to vote and comment it really means the world to me. It was a hot summer day, and I was feeling the butterflies in my stomach as I made my way to Taylor's house for her 4th of July party. I couldn't believe that I, her biggest fan, was actually dating her. It still felt like a dream every time I looked at her and saw those sparkling blue eyes and that radiant smile that could light up the world.

As I walked up to the front door, I could hear the sounds of laughter and music coming from inside. I took a deep breath to calm my nerves before knocking on the door. Taylor opened it with a smile that made my heart skip a beat.

"Hey, babe! I'm so glad you could make it," she said, pulling me into a warm hug. "Come on in, everyone's waiting for you."

I followed her inside, taking in the sight of the beautifully decorated backyard. There were strings of fairy lights, red, white, and blue decorations everywhere, and a large table filled with delicious food and drinks. Taylor took my hand and led me over to a group of her friends, introducing me with a proud smile.

As the afternoon continued , we all gathered around a bonfire, roasting marshmallows and sharing stories. Taylor sat beside me, her head resting on my shoulder as she talked and laughed with her friends. I couldn't help but feel a surge of happiness and contentment as I looked around at the scene before me. It was like something out of a movie, and I was living it.

As the night went on, Taylor and I found ourselves dancing together under the starlit sky. Her hand in mine, her smile lighting up her face, it was a moment I never wanted to end. She pulled me closer, whispering in my ear, "I'm so glad you're here with me, on this special day."

I smiled back at her, feeling my heart swell with love. "I wouldn't want to be anywhere else, Taylor. You make every moment special."

She grinned and pressed a soft kiss to my lips. It was a moment of pure magic, and I never wanted it to end.

As the sun began to set, Taylor pulled me aside and led me to a quiet corner of the backyard.

"Hey," she said softly, wrapping her arms around me. "I just wanted to say how grateful I am to have you in my life. You mean everything to me, and I couldn't imagine spending this day with anyone else."

My heart swelled with emotion as I looked into her eyes. "I feel the same way, Taylor. You make me the happiest person in the world."

We stood there in silence for a moment, taking in the beauty of the moment. The sky was painted in hues of orange and pink, and the sounds of fireworks began to fill the air.

"Come on," Taylor said, taking my hand and leading me towards the open field behind the house. "Let's watch the fireworks together."

We found a spot to sit on the grass, and Taylor laid her head on my shoulder. As the first firework exploded in the sky, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with emotion.

"Wow," I whispered, squeezing Taylor's hand. "This is so beautiful."

Taylor smiled and turned to me, her eyes shining with love. "Not as beautiful as you," she said, leaning in to kiss me softly.

As the fireworks continued to light up the sky, Taylor and I sat there in each other's arms, completely lost in the magic of the moment. I couldn't imagine a more perfect way to spend the 4th of July than with my amazing girlfriend.

As the last firework faded away, Taylor turned to me with a smile. "I love you," she said, her voice filled with sincerity.

"I love you too," I replied, feeling overwhelmed with gratitude for having her in my life.

And as we sat there, basking in the glow of the fireworks and the warmth of each other's love, I knew that this 4th of July would be a day I would never forget
