"Of course I can!" Julie said with a frown, and then she remembered. She wasn't really supposed to be able to see ghosts in the first place.

She reached out a hand for Willie to shake it. He was a bit hesitant as she reached out and his hand went right through her. Julie frowned. So whatever magic had given her the ability to touch her boys; didn't extend to other ghosts then.

She saw how Willie gave a quick frown at her hand passing through him but then he stepped away.

"Well lifers aren't supposed to be able to see us." Willie replied as he sent a look towards Alex.

Julie frowned but then shook her head and she smiled at him.

"I'm glad Alex found you. We have a lot of questions." She said sitting on her bed again. The three boys took that as an opportunity to walk closer and stand at the foot of her bed.

"About what?" Willie said.

Alex took that moment to walk forward and placed his hand on her shoulder.

"This." He said and turned to face him.

"You know hearing about is one thing but actually seeing is another," Willie said, gazing at Julie's shoulder. "It should be impossible-I mean the only other ghost I've seen to be able to do that is Caleb."

Julie paused.

"Caleb can touch lifers?" Alex said as he removed his hand away.

Willie rubbed his neck.

"Yeah, I've seen him shake hands with a few lifers at the club. I've never seen any other ghost able to do it apart from you guys and him." Willie replied.

Julie sighed. Why was it when they thought they might get answers to something, did more questions rise to the surface?

"So Caleb is the only other ghost you've seen who can touch lifers?" Julie muttered. She didn't want her boys going anywhere near Caleb's club.

"Yeah. He's probably the only one who could give you answers." Willie said with a shrug of his shoulders.

Julie caught Luke's attention as his eyes widened.

"Suppose we could go and scope out the place, see what makes it tick eh Alex?" He said.

Julie shook her head and forgot that she was supposed to be angry at Luke.

"No Luke. Please, I don't want you going anywhere near that place. I almost lost you." She said in a whisper. She cleared her throat when she realized that Alex and Willie were still in the room.

Luke looked at her like a kicked puppy but nodded his head.

"Okay, boss." He said. Her heart ached as she looked at him. No Julie! Remember you're supposed to be annoyed at him. She couldn't help if his smile was perfect though.

"I agree, we're not going anywhere near the club and Caleb. I only just got Alex back." Willie said.

Julie watched as Alex tried to hide his blush by hiding in his pink hoodie.

"Well now we're all on the same page, is there a reason why all three of you came to visit me?" Julie questioned as she looked at all three of the boys.

There was a momentary pause before Alex lifted a finger up.

"Yeah actually a funny story, well you know that I've been looking for Willie and found him today. Turns out that he hasn't been back since last week and I was just wondering if he could stay here." He said the last part quickly. If Julie hadn't been listening attentively she wouldn't have been able to hear him.
