Overall I had so much fun with him. He's really fun to be around and I smiled the entire time. I honestly haven't smiled that much in a long time.
Plus the food was good, so.
But today is a new day. Today is also a busy day. I have a meeting with my manager in like an hour, I have a studio session right after that'll take God knows how long, Ra'Mariah wants me to help her pick out some decor for her office remodel.. I'm gonna be tired.
I'm not complaining, I love my job. It just comes with a lot of work. Which is obvious, any job comes with work.
I was currently doing a natural makeup look in the bathroom, I had to leave for my meeting in like 30 minutes. I'm not doing too much, the meeting will probably last like 15 minutes.
Finishing my makeup, I go in my room to put on my outfit. It consisted of a tan two piece leggings and jacket set, white slouch socks and my tan Nike V2K Run sneakers. I grabbed a white purse and put it on my shoulder.
Hearing my phone buzz on the dresser I went to go grab it. My manager Sasha was calling.
"Hey Sash, I'm leaving now. I know you're calling me to rush me." I answered.
"I'm glad you know. You take 5 years to get dressed it seems like."
I rolled my eyes. "You're pushing it. It takes me a good 45 minutes to get dressed."
She scoffed. "Yeah okay Essynce. I'll see you when you get here."
We said our goodbyes and I grabbed my phone walking out my room. I went downstairs and spoke to Cash before I left. Sometimes I felt bad for him, recently he stayed here while I was always out.
So I called my manager.
She sighed. "Essynce if you tell me you're going to be late I'm gonna scream."
"Actually no, I'm ready to go. However, I'm giving you a heads up." I informed.
"A heads up on what?" She asked confusedly
"I'm bringing Cash with me." The line went silent.
"Um... hello?" I spoke up.
Sasha sighed before she spoke up. "You called me.. to let me know.. that you're bringing your dog?"
I scoffed. "Cash is not just my dog. He's my companion, he's my baby, my wor-"
"Yeah yeah Ess, I got it. Just don't be late, thanks." She cut me off and hung up.
I pulled the phone away from my ear and looked at it in shock. Rude much?
I put my phone in my bag and picked Cash up. I quickly walked to my car sitting him in his car seat in the passenger seat. I got in the car and pulled off.
