Third Person POV:

Y/n slowly blinked open their eyes, realizing that they had been holding tightly to the man they had summoned, he was looking down at them with an eyebrow raised and his mouth curved into a smirk, and as y/n let go of him, blushing in embarrassment, he was visibly entertained at their flustered actions.

Y/n then looked at the space around them, taking in their surroundings.

"Where am I?"

Y/n stood awestruck at the view before them. They found themselves in a sprawling city unlike any they had ever imagined. Pentagram City stretched out before them, a dizzying mix of towering skyscrapers and crumbling buildings. Neon lights flickered eerily, casting strange shadows on the crowded streets below. Strange creatures, some with horns and others with wings, hurried past, their eyes gleaming with an unsettling mix of curiosity and malice. The air was thick with the scent of sulfur and something unnameable, and distant echoes of laughter and screams echoed through the city's alleys. Despite the initial shock and fear, there was an odd familiarity to the chaos- a twisted mirror of the world they once knew.

"Hell can't exist for too long without it's king's presence, it was only a matter of time before I was taken back." Lucifer spoke, pausing to stare at y/n for a moment, "I guess you got swept up with me on accident."

"Hell!?" Y/n screamed in shock. Their mind raced with thoughts as they took in the sights before them. "Wait- am I dead or some shit?" They asked, looking down at their body to see if they were still alive.

"Yes, you're still alive." Lucifer assures them. His mouth curved into a soft smile, finding their animated expressions amusing.

He shakes his head to snap himself out of it. "Anyways, I suppose I should send you back to Earth now!" He declared, raising his hand to snap his fingers.

Before he could act, y/n slapped his hand away and shouted, "No!"

Lucifer recoiled, placing a hand dramatically over his heart. "Did you just hit me?!" he exclaimed theatrically, pretending to be offended.

Y/n sighed, feeling a mix of guilt and determination. "I'm sorry! I just... I want to stay here, in Hell," they confessed reluctantly.

"You want to stay?" He raised an eyebrow at them and put his hands on his hips, "Are you serious? It's a literal hellhole."

"Yes I'm sure!" Y/n pleaded, but Lucifer looked unconvinced.

Lucifer sighed, his voice tinged with an unusual mix of sympathy and concern. "Y/n, you don't understand. Hell is not meant for the living. It's a place of punishment, of eternal suffering." His tone was more serious than before.

Y/n was still determined to stay here, and they knew they needed to get through to him somehow. "Look, Lucifer..." they began, their eyebrows furrowed, "Life on Earth sucks! Every single goddamn day is the same, it's so boring! So mundane!"

"... but you're still a living soul, you have a chance of making it to Heaven." Lucifer argued, "It's a perfect paradise up there, do you really want to give up a chance at going to Heaven just to be stuck down here?"

They turn around to face the city, a flicker of enthusiasm in their eyes. "Look at what it's like here! Chaos and havoc flooding the streets! What I wouldn't give for this kind of thrill!"

He could see that they were set on staying here. They didn't care that Heaven was nicer, they just didn't want to be held down by rules, they wanted freedom.

"...There's just one problem with that y/n, you're still alive." He puts a hand on their shoulder, and they look up at him to make eye contact as soon as he does. "If you die here, you could end up in Heaven. And let's be real, you won't last a day down here."

Y/n pauses and frowns, feeling defeated. They knew this was too good to be true.

Lucifer's expression softened, a mischievous glint in his eye as he considered the unexpected request. He sees the unhappy look on their face, and he finds himself frowning with them. He lowers his gaze to the ground. He knew what it was like to long for freedom.

"If you insist on staying, I will grant you a disguise, so you can blend in with the rest of the sinners." With a wave of his hand, Lucifer conjured a cloak of shadows around y/n, transforming them into a demonic semblance of their former self. As y/n looked down at their new form, they felt a surge of exhilaration unlike anything they had ever experienced.

"Now what?" Y/n asked eagerly.

"Well you need to commit sins to be considered a sinner! Just be careful not to get yourself hurt." Lucifer said, giving them a wink, "You can stay at my daughter's hotel in the meantime!"

Y/n couldn't hold back their excitement, they were already envisioning the sins they could commit in this new guise. The plan was simple, to commit as many sins as possible while they were down here to make sure they'd be able to stay, while also not getting themself killed in the process. If they died before they proved themself to be evil, they could be sent to Heaven.

Lucifer snaps his finger, and both him and y/n are swept up and transported to his daughter's hotel, right outside of the front entrance. Y/n marveled at the building, they were left speechless by it. The glowing lights and signs glimmering along the curves of the hotel's architecture made the place a vision of majesty. It was stunning.

After a long moment of y/n gaping at the hotel, Lucifer finally breaks the silence, "The whole purpose of this hotel is to rehabilitate sinners and send them to Heaven, and you're trying to do the opposite..."

He pauses and playfully nudges y/n with his elbow, giving them a chuckle "Just don't blow your cover! I hope you're a good liar!"

And with that, he pushes open the entrance doors and leads them inside.
