Annie's heart raced with anxiety as she arrived at the libtique hall Minji had mentioned on the phone. She trusted Jungkook, but doubts gnawed at her mind, and she felt a desperate need to clarify things.

She couldn't resist the urge to come here, especially after catching Jungkook with Minji before. The sight had left her feeling betrayed and uncertain.

She stood frozen at the main door of the hall, her heart pounding in her chest.

Two imposing guards blocked her path, leaving her unsure of how to proceed.

She was thinking how to devert their minds.

As she pondered her next move, her mind racing with possibilities, the guards suddenly disappeared inside.

Seizing the opportunity, she hurriedly slipped into the building, her nerves on edge yet determined to uncover the truth.

Silently, she wandered through the building, footsteps echoing faintly in the corridors as she searched for any sign of Jungkook.

Every shadow seemed to hold a potential clue, heightening her senses as she moved cautiously, her heart pounding with a mix of fear and anticipation.

"Oh come on, you both have been dating for a year now. Just get married already," she heard someone say, the voice familiar.

"You're right, Suga hyung. Remember our Jeju trip last year? They were inseparable, didn't leave the room for a moment," Jimin's voice followed with a soft giggle.

Her heart sank as she stood frozen in the doorway, overhearing the conversation inside.

Annie gripped her bag tighter, trying to steady herself. She pushed gently against the door, which someone had conveniently left ajar, and peeked inside.

BTS members were scattered around the room, relaxed and chatting, while Jungkook and Minji sat close together on the couch.

The sight tore through Annie like a knife.

"I missed my periods after that trip. I thought maybe I was pregnant. I was so scared, thinking about how Jungkook would react to the news," Minji confessed softly, looking at Jungkook with adoration while he seemed engrossed in his phone.

Annie's world seemed to shatter around her as she stood in the doorway, her hand clutching her bag tightly. The voices of BTS members discussing Jungkook and Minji's relationship pierced through her, each word intensifying the pain in her heart.

She couldn't move, couldn't speak, as Minji's revelation about a missed period and a potential pregnancy echoed in her mind.

Taehyung nodded sympathetically. "Of course, he should have been happy."

Jungkook was uninterested in the chit-chat around him. He hadn't even known Minji would be there, it was supposed to be a relaxed night for just seven of them. But Jimin had invited Minji without consulting him, as Hyuna and Aera were also invited.

Minji's presence didn't concern Jungkook in the slightest, his thoughts were solely occupied by Annie.Unbeknownst to Jungkook, Minji had purposely positioned herself close to him, well aware that Annie was watching.

She sought to inflict maximum pain, deliberately recounting intimate details to shatter Annie's heart into a million pieces. While Minji spilled her words in an attempt to break Annie, Jungkook remained absorbed in his phone, oblivious to her efforts and unconcerned with what she was saying.

Jungkook's eyes furrowed when he checked Annie's location because it was showing that she was there. He immediately looked at the door where she was standing with teary eyes and broken heart.
