1.00 p.m. - At a deserted road
Abhimanyu: *shading his eyes* Rohan should not have volunteered to go with him.
Aarohi: *tensed* I just hope that Dr. Abhinav will stick to his words.
Abhimanyu stopped walking, Aarohi also came to a stop as she was supporting Abhimanyu to walk. Though the drugs wore off his system, the sunlight made Abhimanyu quite dizzy. That's why Aarohi was supporting him.
Aarohi: *concerned* Want to take a break?
Abhimanyu was a good half foot taller than Aarohi, so he looked down at her.
Abhimanyu: *squinting eyes* This would not have happened, if both you and Rohan had not interfered between us.
Aarohi: *huffs* And let my dear senior change his mind of letting you go! Never!
Abhimanyu: *upset* Both you and Rohan, should not have been even in the situation. And damn my loyal intern Rohan and of course damn Dr. Abhinav Sharma.
Aarohi dragged Abhimanyu to a nearby mile stone and asked him to sit for sometime.
Aarohi: I can exchange places with Rohan.
Abhimanyu: Don't you dare! I'll go!
Aarohi: No!
Abhimanyu: *sighs* Aarohi?
Aarohi: Hmm?
Abhimanyu: *hugging her from waist* I'm sorry! I'm sorry! *Gulping* Thank you.
Aarohi held onto him tightly, tears of relief prickled her eyes. Her fingers gently gripped his hair.
Elsewhere....
Abhinav: *checking his phone* Go straight till you see a fallen tree, then take three consecutive lefts, you'll catchup with them.
Rohan: *puzzled* But we're supposed to get rescued together according to the plan, Dr. Abhinav.
Abhinav: *seriously* Want me to have a change of mind and keep you hostage to get Abhimanyu back?
Rohan noded in a no, then Abhinav told Rohan to RUN in a very serious tone. Rohan obeyed.
*1st Flashback*
6.00 a.m. - At Abhimanyu's room in Abhinav's secret place
Aarohi and Rohan started to protest as Abhinav accepted to release them with a promise that they'll not reveal his identity. Then suddenly something dawned on Rohan.
Rohan: *hesitatingly* Dr. Abhinav Sharma, you want to safeguard your medical license, correct?
Abhimanyu, Aarohi and Abhinav looked curiously at Rohan, who continued after Abhinav nodded a yes.
Rohan: Well..... you're already on the suspect list.
Abhinav: *seriously* And how do you know that? My men are monitoring all the activities of the police...
Abhimanyu: *interrupts him* And given my family background, you think that they might not have appointed any special investigation teams by now. And also it'll not be that easy for you to access their progress.
Aarohi (in her mind): *shocked* Oh God! Do you even want to escape or stay with this man forever. Then why the heck, you're pointing out what he might have missed. Damn Stockholm Syndrome.
