A point of no end

10.00 p.m. - At the Birla house......

The special investigation team is on a phone call with the police department, all the Birlas except Manjari and Akshara were keenly listening.

The policeman: Sir, we have found nothing other than Dr. Abhimanyu's clothes that he wore at the day of his kidnapping. Also we've send a team to follow the vehicle which has taken Dr. Aarohi and Dr. Rohan.

Officer 1: *pissed* Okay, keep us updated.

Officer 2: *looks on* Dr. Aarohi did make a fool proof plan, yet we were not fast enough. Dr. Aarohi's phone must have been hacked as it was completely wiped out. Also from the details we extracted from Dr. Rohan's phone who was investigated today morning for the "coffee text", is clear that he came across Dr. Aarohi unexpectedly.

Anand looked at his brother Harsh worriedly, who was lost in his thoughts.

Harsh (in his mind): *sighs* Aarohi, you cared about Abhimanyu this much to risk yourself. You've already done so much for him, I knew it you were the one for my son. Where are you Abhimanyu? Please God keep him safe, when will he come back and realise Aarohi's worth.

*Flashback*

Rohan was holding Aarohi's hand and both of them were being chased by the kidnappers.

Aarohi: *heavy breaths* Well the one kidnapped him are now chasing me and by extension you as you've decided to tag along!

Rohan: *shocked* What?!?

Aarohi: *panting* So now leave my hand and go away, save yourself.

Rohan: *seriously* For the last time, I won't leave you alone in such a situation.

Aarohi was equally frustrated and grateful for her ex-colleague's care and concern. A breathless Rohan managed to extract some information from Aarohi, still Aarohi gave only an unclear truth as she was afraid of revealing Abhinav's identity. That is how Aarohi and Rohan teamed up and fooled the goons chasing them. Together they managed to reach the location found from pager, but alas! They got caught and taken away by force.

*Elsewhere*

Abhimanyu regained his consciousness a couple of minutes ago after Abhinav left the room to catch-up with Aarohi. Thankfully the temporary paralysis of his hands and legs were gone, he got up from the bed and tried to escape. Which was not a success. Then he spotted the note, food and change of clothes. Though his stomach growled at the sight of food, he couldn't bring himself to touch it. The note written by his supposed kidnapper/ex-batchmate asked him to eat and refresh.

Abhimanyu (in his mind): *fed up* Both of us, me and him, require a very serious psychiatric counselling. But I can understand that it's his guilt towards me is making him act up like this. Hey Mahadev, what even am I supposed to do?!?! Please show me a way.

If he's not gonna touch the food, atleast a shower can clear up his mind, Abhimanyu thought to himself and took the change of clothes. When Abhimanyu was done freshing up, all the while his left wrist was still restrained, a couple of men barged into the room and stood like a statue. Though he has regained his strength, Abhimanyu didn't think that he'll be able to take them down given their number. One among the men, streched his hand and shown Abhimanyu his phone's screen where Abhinav's video message played.

Abhinav (through the phone screen): Dr. Abhimanyu, I know that you would have woken up by now. Also sorry for the further inconvenience I'm going to cause, well the thing is we're going to switch places. You can either co-operate with this men or they'll sedate you and nothing more, the choice is yours to make.

Abhimanyu was again pissed beyond his limit and weighed his options, he can't really take down all the men and who knows how many more will be there. So Abhimanyu forced himself to co-operate.

And that's how Aarohi and Rohan nearly reached Abhimanyu and later the police only found Abhimanyu's clothes in that place.

11.45 p.m. - At a new secret place....

After what felt like hours, Abhinav's men reached the new location with Abhimanyu. And Abhimanyu was tempted to throw some fists but only the number of goons made himself to be in his best behaviour. And to his own surprise, Abhimanyu did not get affected by his Nyctophobia. The doctor in him concluded that having got something akin to a closure with his past, must have made his brain not to succumb to the fear of darkness. Abhinav was standing outside of his new secret place.

Abhimanyu (in his mind): *frustrated* His calm personality really does a number on me, but I do deserve to punch him in the face atleast once for his stupidity.

Abhinav: *calmly* I hope your journey was smooth, I was really worried about your Nyctophobia. But looks like your therapy was very much productive *smiles* Anyways Comeon in!

Abhimanyu was seriously at loss of words, well in his defence never in his life he did expect to experience a humble kidnapper. Abhinav turned around to enter the place, the man behind Abhimanyu nudged him to move. When they reached the main hall, Abhinav spoke.

Abhinav: *clears throat* Dr. Abhimanyu, you can take the room upstairs. Though the windows are sealed and soundproofed it has a really good view. I'm sorry but I'll have to restrain you, just any one of your wrist and I'll keep the room locked. But don't worry I've left your favourite music albums and movie to keep you entertained.

Abhimanyu: *at his wit's end* Are you sure, you know how to be a kidnapper?

Abhinav: *blinking* Well I've kidnapped Akshara Goenka that was a failed one, but you! I'm keeping under my custody for like 30 whole hours. Why are doubting my skills Dr. Abhimanyu?

Abhimanyu: *rubbing his eyes* Can you even hear yourself, what you're speaking.

Abhinav: *confused* Yes, I do.

Abhimanyu looked at the man infront of him and turned back to look at the seven other men behind him and sighed.

Abhimanyu: *throwing his hands up in exaggeration* Well at this point just drop the formalities. And just call me Abhimanyu!

Abhinav: *nodding* If that's what you want, then it's fine by me, Abhimanyu.

Abhimanyu wanted to scream loud, so badly.
