*A Saturday morning - Abhimanyu's room at the Birla house*

Abhimanyu came out of a much needed hot shower. Today, he has hit the gym after a long while, his sore muscles were finally relieved. This kind of ache after a power pack workout is pure bliss and as he was drying up his hair, he heard a knock at the door followed by his brother's voice.

Neil: Bhai! Sir has called you downstairs for a meeting with a special investigator. Dr. Rohan and Dr. Aarohi has also came here.

The last line perked his interest, Abhimanyu quickly took his phone in one hand and opened the door. And his suspicion was correct, both Aarohi and Rohan did message him about being called to visit the Birla house, while he was in the shower.

Neil: *nudging* Come fast bhai.

Abhimanyu: *messing Neil's hair* Since, when did you start to rush for fulfilling Sir's orders.

Neil usually pushes his brother's hand away, but after everything he started to glue himself to Abhimanyu as much as he can. And of course, Abhimanyu noticed the subtle changes in his little brother's actions. And felt bad for causing him, emotional distress. Even Parth has started to crash his room more often. His Shefali bhabhi dropped his favourite pastries more often than his usual intake. His mother needed no explanation, but Manjari was talking to him more about how Akshara could have been the perfect daughter in law for this house whenever they're alone. He tried to gently reject the idea, but his mother is getting agitated with him nowadays.

It made Abhimanyu, doubt whether Akshara's still manipulating his mother. But she's barely leaving her flat other than necessary and Abhimanyu does know for a fact that his mother is checking upon Akshara everyday. In the back of his mind, Abhimanyu noted to himself, to have a more open conversation regarding his break-up. Neil was literally glued to Abhimanyu, when Harsh spotted them descending the stairs, Abhimanyu's eyes met the eyes of his father who was waiting for him near the drawing room's door and there was that look again. A look of silent observation, which is itching Abhimanyu to pull out his own hair, scratch himself with his nails. Not only his father, his taiji and tauji are also giving him that look. Everyday. 24*7. In house, in hospital, literally everywhere.

When the brothers reached the drawing room, Harsh spoke...

Harsh: Neil, you can leave.

Abhimanyu saw a barely concealed protest in his little brother's expression, so he patted his head in assurance. But he for a fact does know that Neil left halfheartedly.

As soon as Abhimanyu, stepped into the room. He noticed the seating arrangements. The investigator (a man in his 50's), taiji, tauji has taken up the arm chairs. While Aarohi and Rohan has taken the couch in the middle. There's an arm chair left and one can be accommodated with Aarohi and Rohan. He went towards the couch after nodding his greetings. Harsh took the remaining arm chair after closing the door. And comically both Aarohi and Rohan scooted over to the sides, indicating Abhimanyu to sit at the centre.
