NOTE 1:

Kleptomania - a mental health disorder that involves repeatedly being unable to resist urges to steal items that you generally don't really need.

Psychiatrists, psychologists and therapists are generally involved in the treatment of kleptomania.
✨ Although there's no cure for kleptomania, treatment with medicine or skill-building therapy that focuses on dealing with urges may help to end the cycle of compulsive stealing.

Dear readers, I'm more of a MCU fan, but yeah I watch DC stuff now and then. As there's some reference made in this chapter, I've given an explanation for those who don't know about them.

Now let's dive into the story...... This chapter contains some explanations...

*At the Birla house*

Abhimanyu knew that he's the centre of everyone's attention now, he also knew that everyone deserved an explanation. But what was he even supposed to say? Without mentioning him? That him, in question already has lot on his plate. Abhimanyu prayed for a distraction, a moment to break free of the stares he's on the recieving end. And his prayers were answered but accompanied with a more chaos. With the hidden cameras found from the God's realistic portrait his mother hung on his room and a microphone from the room freshner of all places. A series of verbal spats erupted from the main hall, with Manjri pleading her innocence. Abhimanyu went near his mother to console her.

Vinay: *calmly* We know that Mrs. Birla, just try to recall from where you've bought the portrait? *Turning to his assistant* Enquire the house helpers about the room freshner.

Manjari: *laboured breathing* A girl was selling this near the temple and she requested me to buy this as this was the only remaining piece, without getting sold.

Vinay: And when did this happen?

Manjari: *holding her son* The very next day, after Abhimanyu returned back home safely from the kidnappers.

Vinay: Can you describe her appearance? Her facial features, age and whatever you can remember.

Manjari: *panicking* No! I just know that it's a woman and nothing else as she was covered from head to toe.
