''Aren't you happy to see me?'' Magnus' hands were on his pocket while grinning. Hindi makapaniwala ko siyang tinitigan. Pati na rin ang mga tao sa paligid ay iisa ang reaksyon.

Everyone was shocked to discover that Magnus was not a kid all along, but a grown-up man who had manipulated all of us.

"What's wrong?" Magnus scoffed. Kulang na lang ay sabihin niyang lahat kami'y mukhang tanga dahil sa aming mga mukha't reaksyon.

I blinked when I noticed that the lamp beside him looked distorted. Sa hindi malaman na dahilan ay agad ko ring tiningnan ang mga palad ko. It was a rule to know whether you're dreaming or not. I had the feeling that I had to do this.

''Smart move.'' The moment Magnus leaned on the chair, everything began to dissolve. I admitted that I panic a bit. Aminado naman akong nagulantang ako, mga 0.1 percent nga lang. Hindi ko lang pinahalata sa kaniya.

I stepped back, and everything started dissolving until I finally saw where I truly was. Everything is just an illusion. There was no party, but I was still wearing my clothes. Nakatayo ako sa hindi magarbong lugar. I'm just standing in a plain cream room with a chair in front of me.

In short, the banquet a while ago was all an illusion. I'm standing inside this tiny room with a grown man sitting on a silver chair.

''That's all? Oh my god! So scary!'' I sarcastically shouted and scoffed as I crossed my arms. Hindi ko alam kung ano'ng pakana niya't kung ano'ng makukuha niya sa pang-uto sa akin pero sorry siya.

''I knew it.'' Magnus blurted out.

''You didn't expect this, don't you?'' Magnus scoffed.

''You're the kid all along?'' I whispered. Isang ngisi lang ang sinagot niya't sumandal sa upuan kung saan siya nakaupo.

"You're right. Very good, Ginger." He leaned back in his chair, and I froze in that moment. Lumawak ang ngisi niya at samantalang ako ay ilang segundong hindi makapagsalita. As I met his gaze, I knew I had to stand my ground. He might think he had the upper hand, but I wasn't about to let him get away with it.

"Who's Ginger? You've got a lot of women on your mind, and you can't even recognize a single lady?" I fired back, and instead of backing down, the grin on his lips became wider. Naningkit ang mga mata ko nang tumayo siya sa kaniyang upuan.

"Aren't you curious why Ginger and Morgana's invitation envelopes are next to each other?"

''I don't know a girl named Ginger.'' Nakipagtigasan ako ng tingin sa kaniya hanggang sa makarating siya sa harap ko. My forehead remained lifted to level myself with his height.

''What a joke.'' My eyebrow shot up when he interrupted me. Who did he think he was, cutting me off like that?

"'I can tell a suspicious person easily. Just relax. I can see you shaking, darling.'' Magnus chuckled as he leaned closer. Naramdaman ko ang malamig na pader sa aking likod. He cornered me against the wall while he leaned closer to my face. Hindi ko inalis ang tingin ko sa kaniyang mukha habang nakataas ang isa kong kilay.

"So the name is Ginger because of the color, huh? Very weird. Lady Morgana. Oh, are you really Lady Morgana?" He tilted his head while his breath brushed against my skin.
