When you're gone
Before you go,
I'd want you to know
That I'm sorry for everything
Letting you hurt yourself
Like a frog in a saucepan
I didn't think of turning off the heat
And I left you to wonder
The history of mine thats yet to repeat. My heart is glass
Though you can't see anything wrong
I won't even let you pass
Because I don't let anyone inside
Even if I know you are waiting for me
To let you in, you have to know me
The worst version of me.
Its enough to leave it aside.I'm sorry for leaving you waiting.
That letter, that gift, that message.
I used to think I deserve to give love,
But even the world wouldn't agree
A hidden gem that was left unseen
Discovered now, so I changed my mind
I don't deserve to love, not you, evenMust I repeat myself?
The flowers that once stood with me have now rotted away
I failed to water them with care,
I tried and tried,
And the birds who sung every morning didn't even stay,
So what makes you wonder why I blame myself?
