The Sun was beginning to set, and hopes were barely visible in the dusk of this place.

"This can't be happened," Cheol muffled breathlessly as he began to back away. He glanced over the officers who were upended in front of him, the smirk on their faces and their eyes were scornful, uproar the uncertainty, fueling his uneasy feelings for Han.

Han who was held in the faintly lit room alone waiting for one would appear and will dismiss this quietness. The room was closing on him, walls converging as if to swallow him whole, he wanted scream but a lump in his throat would not let him say anything.

The room with utter silence, which was only braking by the occasional muffled voices coming from the outside rising his hopes trashes in vain each time. Even though he was trapped alone yet the only fear that was bothering him was his lover's wellbeing.

By the time weariness stole the character from his brown eyes, those drifted shut slowly, touching closed several times before staying there. Han was thinking about Cheol when Cheol was devasted too, the thud of his heartbeats was echoing in his ears.

Cheol stared at the wall, unseeing, unthinking, for so long, after almost an hour which seemed like eternity to him, his defeated eyes caught the glimpse of his father along with Sangmin. He wiped his sweaty palms on his pants, and stood straight.

Sangmin looked across at him with that sinister grin, he had since the morning which not even once died out from his face. Cheol's attention trembled upon his father when he came towards him.

Mr. Choi's expression softened as he caressed his shoulder with comforting smile on face.

Mr. Choi- Cheol, Officer realised he got you wrong, (he smiled) you don't have to stay here anymore. (he announced).

Cheol- and Han?? (Cheol asked immediately with hope in his eyes)

Mr. Choi's grip was released from Cheol's shoulders, he licked his lips, a sign of his struggle to find the right words to express the situation which he just manipulated for the sake of his son.

(But then Sangmin interjected in and replied). Sangmin- "Ah, about him unfortunately Mr. Jeonghan can't just leave yet, as we still have so many questions for him." (His tone was disdainful).

Cheol's face turned crimson, he looked at his father once again, as though he might disagree with Sangmin.

Mr. Choi- will see about that later, what we could do. (he replied).

His face contorted into a mask of ease but domination in his eyes said the reality. Those eyes were not new to Cheol, made his thoughts risen in whirlwind of concerned whispers.

Cheol- what?? (he hissed) not fair, he is innocent. (his voice broke, barely came out as his throat closed, cutting off air).

Mr. Choi - then it shouldn't be a problem. (He stated, his voice became sturdy.)

Cheol knew his father's stubborn demeanour very well as much as his father loved him besides that, he was not familiar to get dared yet, but today Cheol knew, he had to protest against his father so he did.

Cheol mounted strong on his grounds his voice trembled at first but then he was ready to tore through any door, any room or world for Han. As he declared -

Cheol- No, I can't abandon Han, would never leave him alone. (His voice got firm with drive). An--and I'm not going anywhere, without him. (his eyes burned with resolve)

Silence fell over between the two, questioning their bond, Mr. Choi who kept his calm until Cheol refused to follow his words, he was in disbelief, as his jaw tightened. He couldn't believe, how possibly could his obedient son even dared to defy him for someone, he just met. (he wondered)
