A special post wedding shot!
Sorry for being late and this is a short one.

Due to some official work Prem and Preeti were to arrive in Rampur~place so dear to both of them, that has witnessed the most special phases of their life, be it their childhood or love confession.

Prem parked the car, holding Preeti's hand lightly and smiled at her. He got down the car, not before opening her side of the door helping her out as she stretched her arms after the long tiring journey.

They were welcomed by the caretaker of the haveli who handed him the keys, "Namaste Prem bhaiya, aapke rehne ka sara intezam krdiya hai."

He smiled at him as they proceeded towards the main door. Preeti was about to step in when Prem stopped her "Ek min, yahin ruko mai aaya." and disappeared before she could ask him anything.

She saw him returning with a pooja ki thaali. She shook her head, whispering a "really?".

"Aree, kya, maa ke special instructions the, bahu pehli baar officially bahu bnke jaa rhi hai...toh rituals toh follow krne chahiye na" he slightly winked at her, as he sincerely continued following the customs and dropping a few rose petals over her, took her in. She gave a big bright smile before she entered in, grabbing his hand tightly in hers.

Prem took out his laptop, finalising the last minute details of his presentation, as he insisted on ordering the food considering she was already tired of the journey.

But Preeti being Preeti ordered his favorite chhole bhature and escaped in the kitchen cooking halwa for him.

She felt his arms around her waist, as he whispered softly "Kabhi to meri baat maan liya karo meri jaan".
She pushed his hands away, "Tumhe yaad hai jab maine pehli baar isi kitchen me tumhare liye halwa bnaya tha".

He nodded, "Sachme bahut achha bna tha".
"Pehli baar bnaya tha" She said.
"Aur harr baar achha hi bnati ho", He said as he made her sit on the dining table and served the halwa in a single bowl for both of them to share.

He cleared the dining table later and she decided to move to their bedroom.

She shrieked as he picked her up suddenly.
"Ye kyu" she said eyeing him, wrapping her slender arms around his torso.
"Maa ne kahaa tha tumhara dhyan rakhne ko.. to tumhari mehnat save kar rha hu stairs chadhne ki", he defended, climbing the stairs.

He took her to their room and she was surprised to see their pictures around.

He kissed her forehead, as he gently placed her on the bed. "Ye Vinod aur Sapna ka kaam hai". She walked around admiring each frame, their childhood pictures, their college days, Rampur trip pictures, their engagement and wedding pictures.

She turned to find old albums at the top of bookshelf as she had instructed Sapna to arrange for.

She was busy adoring his baby picture on the wall, in which he must be not more than two years, his cheeks fuller, hair messed up, and eyes shone innocently.

He backhugged her as she tilted her face, he placed a chaste kiss on her cheek.

"Photo kya dekhti rehti ho, mujhe dekh lo".

She turned back pulling his cheeks, "jo seekha hai aapse hi seekha hai Mr. Husband".

His cheeks flushed as he looked away, a sheepish grin spreading across his face.
She had coaxed him into confessing that he really did own a diary full of her pictures and that Vinod's guess was on point🤭.

She fetched the albums and sat in the centre of the bed, signalling him to sit beside her.

He moved near her, pulling her on himself, adjusting her in his lap as she rested her head on his shoulder. Both of them engrossed in the nostalgia that moment held.

They giggled and recalled the fond memories of their childhood.

"Tum tab bhi books padhte padhte beech me hi so jaati thi..." He said rolling his eyes, eyeing the photo in which they were teens, Prem was sitting like a statue so that she doesn't wake up, as she had fallen asleep on his arm sideways reading a crime thriller.

"Wo bhi mujh par" he continued as he kissed her nose, "Mujhe achha hi lagta tha though" he confessed and she hid her face with her palms.
"Tum humesha se mere comfort person ho..okay" She defended, kissing the dorsal of his palm as they spent hours reliving those days.

He picked up the Bhaiya Bhabhi's wedding album. She had looked so beautiful in the pink saree, open hair, minimal make up and jewellery and the smile he could die for.

"Tum bahut pyaari lag rhi thi uss dinn" he said admiring her picture in which she was dancing with Vinod in the baraat.

"But tum mujhe dekh ke bhaag kyu gyi thi?" He said teasing her as she again hid her face in his embrace.
"Pta nhi.. mujhe khud nhi pta kya ho jaata tha...filmy cheeze, heartbeat tez ho jati thi.. butterflies feel hoti thi.. wo feeling bahut nayi thi tab".

"Aur ab?" He asked as he gently pushed her sleeve away and kissed her shoulder, his lips soft and tender. She shivered, her eyes closing as she tilted her head. She tried to speak but fell short of words.

Unable to take it anymore she turned side ways as she held his face in her palms, pecked his lips uttering "Ab...ab bhi wohi hota hai..bass kehne me darr nhi lagta... I love you."

"Sharmati to abhi bhi utna hi ho" He said and she shot him a glare as her forehead creased "achha achha okay pehle se thodaaaa saaa kum", he sighed defeated.

They moved to the reception night pictures.
"Itni sundar lag rhi thi tum uss raat ko, agar Vinod ne wo nhi kiya hota na toh pakka aake kehta tumse", He confessed.

"Magar Mr. Chhupe Rustom Patidev expose jo ho gye...wo bhi sab ke saamne...tch bichare" She said feigning sadness.

He bit her earlobe "aapko nhi lagta Dr. sahiba aap mujhe bahut zyada pareshan kar rhi hain?" He said, his eyes full of mischief as he tickled her and she tried pushing him away but his hold on her too firm, as the bed creaked softly due to their playful comotion.
They laughed and giggled and he ultimately left her finding her breathless.

The next album was of their visit to Rampur.

"Saare raste tumpe hi dhyaan tha mera" He said, his cheeks warm and crimson.
"Tumhe lagta hai mujhe pta nhi tha". She adored the picture Vinod had clicked when he pushed her next to him. Their smiles and that little shyness, days after their engagement were a bliss.

She had covered him with the jacket, he had got her so many bangles, the visit to fort and the camel ride when he had kissed her shoulder, their first act of intimacy, he had confessed in words how much he had loved her all his life. Those were the days, those were the memories.

Flipping pages, memories of the trip, their new found intimacy they had shared flashed across their eyes. She snuggled into him, finally keeping the albums aside as she pressed her lips over his bare chest, pushing his partly open shirt aside as goosebumps broke on his skin.

"Tumhe kab laga ki tumhe mujhse pyaar hua?" She asked as curiosity took over.
"Maine tumse pehle bhi kahaa hai... Mujhe yaad hi nhi hai mujhe tumse pyaar kab nhi tha" He replied in a husky voice, interlocking their fingers as his other hand stroked he silky smooth locks.

"Wo to tumhari ankho me dikhta tha jaise meri aankho me dikhta tha" She said kissing his forehead.

"Sabko hi dikhta tha". He said and she chuckled.

"Haan magar jab hum Rampur aaye to Vivek Bhai ne ek baat kahi thi ki jo pyaar Dil me hai wo express bhi krna hota hai... Aur jab maine wo kiya toh sachme tumhe khush dekhkar jo dil ko sukoon mila tha."

"Warna tum kabhi nhi kehne wale the kya?" She raised her brows.
"Kya krta... Tum hi ne aadatein bigadi thi... Kahe bina hi sab samajh jaati thi."

His arms came across her waist as he pulled her closer, "Aapke sawaal jawab khatam ho gye madam?" She looked into his eyes full of love and desire for her at that moment.

Was it this place or the memories or the love, that broke their resolve that night.
"I love you too" He said, as their lips met igniting different emotions in them, he traced her waist with his knuckles, kissing her passionately as the night grew along with their intimacy. His fingers igniting desires accompanied with the tender touches. The ambiance of room filled with soft moans, their eratically beating hearts and warm embrace covering them.

The end 💗
