Your Crush On Dingle

chapter 3

Y/n didn't see Dingle the rest of the day. She thought maybe they had a dentist appointment, or got sick. Y/n hoped they were ok.
Y/n walked over to to the cafeteria and ate her lunch with her friend, Joe. Joe had two fox ears.
Joe was a skinwalker, but wasn't very good at shape-shifting, given the ears.
Y/n ate her lunch of squid ink in silence. She was quite worried about Dingle. If they really were at the dentist, the dentist might find out they're part squid and eat them.
Y/n felt eyes on her. She looked around. She couldn't see anyone watching her.
"Hey Joe, is anyone watching me?" Y/n asked.
Joe then used skinwalker magic to find out. "Yeah, I think so... But I'm not sure who's looking at you."
Y/n thought this was weird, but brushed it off as someone having a crush on her. She was very pretty, so it wouldn't surprise y/n if someone liked her.
Y/n decided that she was bored of school so she went to sneak out of the building.
She went out of the cafeteria, down the hall to the front door. She hid in a little nook in the wall, near a stairwell, out of sight of the security camera.
After a minute of waiting, some teacher walked in through the front door.
Y/n saw this opportunity and crawled on all fours and snuck out of the door while it was still open.
"Hey! Are you trying to leave the building?" The teacher spotted her! The gig was up for y/n.
The teacher dragged y/n, who was still struggling to escape the building, to the principal's office.
"This student was trying to leave school! And was very weird at it." The teacher told the principal.
"Y/n L/n. We do not appreciate hooky at Skinwalker high!" The principal scolded y/n.
Y/n grumbled. She should have been more sneaky in her escape from school.
"Your getting detention! Now go back to class youngster," The principal told her.
Y/n didn't have a class then, so she went to go to her usual hangout spot, the w&b closet.
Y/n started a rumor earlier in the school year about the w&b closet being a make-out room, so she could have it all to herself.
When she went in, she noticed that some of the containers of windex and bleach were moved, like someone was in there.
Maybe someone was actually making-out in the closet.
Y/n ate some squid chips and waited for the bell to ring.

After the school day ended, y/n dragged herself to the detention room.
She sat at some seat near the window and gazed out the window.
She watched as some people played soccer outside.
Wait.. was that.. Dingle?! Dingle was sitting outside!
They were so dreamy, gazing at her window. Y/n smiled at them in case they really were watching her.
Dingle wrote something down in a notebook.
After detention was over, y/n looked around the soccer place for Dingle, but they weren't there anymore.
Y/n noticed something, something strange...
There was a squid on the sidewalk!! And it was holding a sword!!
