The sun was shining and y/n thought things we're looking up. Everything seemed beautiful today! The squid waffle she ate reminded her of Dingle. They always looked so cute and edible.
Y/n walked to the local gym. She liked going there on the weekends. She snuck in through some back door connecting to it because she didn't have a membership.

Dingle was there using the hip-master! "Hi Dingle! You look so edib- I mean hard-working today!" Y/n greeted.
Dingle jumped. "Oh hello y/n! You scared me! Ig we had the same idea of coming to the gym today."
"Want to lift together?" Y/n suggested.
"Ok.."
Y/n and Dingle went over to the squat rack. Y/n grabbed some weights and put them on the squat bars.
She started off with 40 kg and did 5 squats. Dingle was too weak to put any weight on the bar so they used the bar with no weight.
After they did their workout, y/n and Dingle decided to explore the gym. Y/n saw a door that said employees only, and dragged Dingle to it. "Let's go in there!"
Dingle didn't get to say no because y/n shoved them through the door.
Y/n walked in behind them, and the door closed with a click. "Did it lock..? Y/n wondered, trying the door to no prevail.
There was no light in the room save for a glimmer around the door from the light of the gym.
"Dingle, I'm sorry I got you into this mess." Y/n said hopelessly. "We're gonna die......"
Dingle groaned. "This sucks.........."
A face illuminated by the small amount of light appeared before y/n's eyes.
"Aah!!"
Y/n dramatically flung herself into Dingle's arms. "Dingle, I never got to tell you that I have a crush on u!"
The lights suddenly turned on and the face's body appeared.
It was a gym employee. "Wow, I wake up to teenage confessions." The employee grumbled. "I was trying to sleep here and get away with not working! You kids shouldn't even be in here,"
The employee shoved them out of the room.
Dingle stood there staring at y/n.
"uhhh.." They wordlessly breathed.
