I park my car taking a deep breath. I get out closing the door locking it the walk up to the restaurant. I walk in walking up to the hostess stand stopping.
"Good morning.", Do you have a reservation?" She asks.
"Yes it's under Wilson." I say to her.
She looks at her book looking through it.
"Party of two?" She asks.
"Yes." I speak.
"It seems the other party is already here. Follow me and I'll direct you to your table." She says, stepping from behind the stand.
She talk me through the dinning area then we stop at a balcony and she moves to the side gesturing me to walk out. I walk out seeing her already seated at the table.
"Hey Ma." I say, walking up to the table.
"You're late." She speaks.
"I'm sorry, morning traffic. How's your morning going so far?" I ask.
"It was going well until I got a call this morning." She speaks.
"About what?" I ask while looking over the menu.
"You and that boy." She speaks.
"Mama." I say sighing.
"You know I don't agree with you seeing him." She speaks.
"Since when?" I ask, confused.
"Since the day I found out that he was a stripper at your cousin's club." She speaks.
I look at her realizing that she's talking about Fuego.
"Ma I'm not with Fuego." I speak.
"Then why am I hearing different?" She asks.
"You wouldn't hear anything if you didn't have people spying on me." I speak.
"As I told you before, I don't have any one spying on you. Some people I know just happen to be in the same place you are sometimes." She speaks.
"Right." I say looking at her with a look.
"I'm only saying something because I don't want anything to happen like before." She speaks.
"There's no need to worry cause Fuego and I aren't together. Even if we were you know I can handle it if something did happen." I speak.
"You guys aren't together?" She asks.
"No." I say, shaking my head.
"Then who were you out with at lunch the other day?" She asks.
"I knew you were having people follow me." I speak.
