I walk into the house being as quiet as possible. I walk from the living room to the bedroom opening the door seeing Zac fast asleep. I walk in easing the door close then walk pass him heading inside the bathroom. I strip out of my clothes slipping on my robe then walk back out to him sitting up in bed looking at me.
"Good morning." I say smiling.
He looks at me not saying anything as I walk over to the dresser grabbing some clothes.
"What do you want for breakfast?" I ask looking at him in the mirror.
"So you're going to act like you didn't just sneak in the house?" He asks.
"I didn't sneak in, I was being quiet so I wouldn't wake you." I say, turning around to him.
"Where were you?" He asks.
"I had a family situation." I say, walking out the room.
"What family situation and don't say it's complicated." He says following me.
"My cousin ran into some trouble and needed my help." I say, walking to the kitchen.
"What kind of trouble?" He asks.
"The kind that required my help." I say while going inside the fridge.
"That's all I get, if it was me that tried to sneak in at seven in the morning my shit would've been packed by the door." He says.
"Then it's a good thing that this is my place." I say.
"That's how it is?" He asks.
"No, I just don't want to go into detail." I say.
"You never do, if you got someone on the side you can just tell me." He says.
"I don't." I say.
"Then why can't you tell me what it is you're doing?" He asks.
"Because I care about you and I don't want to see you pulled into something." I say.
"What the fuck does that mean?" He asks confused.
"It means I've said all that I'm going to." I say.

"Where are we with Mrs. Lodge bank statements?" Andi asks, walking into my office.
"I just finished reviewing them and she definitely has been putting away money." I say.
"How much?" She ask.
"At least forty thousand a month." I say.
"Oh wow." She says with a shocked expression.
"Yeah." I say.
