I open my eyes then look around while I sitting up, hissing from the pain in my side. The bedroom door opens and Fuego walks in carrying a breakfast tray.
"How are you feeling?" He asks as he walks over to me.
"Like I got hit by a Mac truck." I say.
"Yeah, I think I went too hard on you last night." He says as he sits the tray over my legs.
"No, last night was exactly what I needed. It definitely helped me release some stress." I say while picking up a piece of fruit.
"Well today you're doing nothing but resting." He says.
"Wish I could, unfortunately my sick leave is over." I say while eating.
"I thought Madam had her doctor right you a doctors note." He says.
"She did but we have some really important cases at the moment that's crucial to the company so it's all hands on deck." I say.
"At least let me take you and pick up." He says.
"You can take me but you can't pick me up." I say.
"You're not supposed to be driving." He says.
"I'll take an Uber." I say.
"Are we on for tonight?" He asks.
"Yes but can you try not to go so hard this time?" I ask.
"Pilates is good for bruised ribs but I promise we don't have to do it for as long as we did last night." He says.
"Deal." I say smiling.

"What are you doing here?" Andi asks, causing me to look up.
"Working." I say.
"I thought you had another week off?" She asks.
"I did but we're dealing with the biggest case that this firm has had in years. This is an all hands on deck situation and I'm going to be one of those hands." I say.
"A man like Arnold Montgomery isn't going to look twice at the only two women at this firm. From what I've heard he's an old fashion person, he believes that women should be at home with the kids while the men work." She says.
"I know, and who better to teach him new ways then powerful women." I say.
"I don't know Fatima." She says.
"You need to boss up." I say.
"Excuse me?" She asks.
"Look, I know that your my boss but you need to walk into that meeting with your head held high and show all of those misogynistic men that you can do just as much as they can if not more." I say.
