Lyra Ravenshadow and Eva, still reeling from the discovery of Eva's true parentage, decided to seek out Nyx and Jörmungandr. They needed to share the shocking revelation and discuss their next steps. The mansion was vast, with numerous rooms and corridors, but they had a good idea of where to find them.

As they approached Nyx's quarters, the door was slightly ajar. Lyra hesitated, then gently pushed it open. The sight that greeted them made them both freeze in their tracks. Nyx and Jörmungandr were entwined in an intimate embrace, lost in each other.

Lyra quickly averted her gaze, and Eva's face flushed with embarrassment. They both turned to leave quietly, hoping to avoid further intrusion. However, a loose floorboard creaked under Eva's foot, breaking the silence.

Nyx and Jörmungandr looked up, their expressions quickly shifting from surprise to a mixture of annoyance and amusement.

"Sorry," Lyra stammered, trying to regain her composure. "We didn't mean to...interrupt."

Nyx, her cheeks flushed, disentangled herself from Jörmungandr and stood up. "It's alright," she said, attempting to appear nonchalant. "What's going on?"

Jörmungandr remained seated, a smirk playing on his lips. "Yes, to what do we owe this...unexpected visit?"

Eva took a deep breath, holding out the portraits. "We found these," she said, her voice steady despite the turmoil inside her. "They prove that Talon Nightshade is my father."

Nyx's playful expression disappeared, replaced by shock. She took the portraits from Eva, examining them closely. Jörmungandr leaned over to look as well, his eyes narrowing as he recognized the man in the images.

"This...changes everything," Nyx murmured, looking up at Eva with newfound sympathy. "Are you alright?"

Eva nodded, though the weight of the discovery was evident in her eyes. "It's a lot to process, but I'm okay. We thought you should know."

Jörmungandr stood up, his expression serious. "Talon Nightshade being your father explains a lot," he said. "It explains his obsession with you, and why the dark forces are so interested in your power."

Lyra nodded in agreement. "We need to strategize our next move carefully. This revelation could be a double-edged sword."

Nyx stepped forward, placing a reassuring hand on Eva's shoulder. "We're with you, Eva. We'll figure this out together."

Eva managed a small smile, grateful for their support. "Thank you," she said softly. "We need to find out why he never told me and what his ultimate plan is."

Jörmungandr glanced at Nyx, then back at Eva and Lyra. "We should gather everyone and discuss this. The more minds we have working on this, the better."

Lyra nodded. "Agreed. Let's get everyone together."

As they left the room, the atmosphere was charged with a mixture of determination and uncertainty. The revelation about Eva's parentage added a new layer of complexity to their mission. But one thing was clear: they would face whatever came next as a united front, stronger together than they ever were apart.

Eva, Lyra, Nyx, and Jörmungandr made their way to the central hall of the mansion, where the rest of their allies were gathered. The room buzzed with conversations and strategies, but it fell silent as the four of them entered.

"We have urgent news," Lyra announced, drawing everyone's attention. "Eva has discovered something significant about her past."

Eva stepped forward, holding up the portraits. "Talon Nightshade is my father," she revealed, her voice steady. The room erupted in murmurs of shock and disbelief.

Fenris and Ragnar exchanged glances, understanding the gravity of the situation. "This changes our approach," Fenris said. "We need to use this information wisely."

Nyx nodded in agreement. "We need to find out why Talon kept this secret and what he plans to do next."

The team agreed to delve deeper into Talon's intentions, determined to protect Eva and thwart the dark forces threatening their world.
