chapter 22

pond is sitting at the bar, drinking his wine and pondering, "why did she gave up easily?"

he dialed aylin's number, without thinking it was someone's number.

"halo?"

"why can you leave me like that? why can you find a reason to stay? do you know how much I love you? I loved you for eight years, for a whole freaking eight years! did you think about leaving me? fuck, I am a sober now."

"ahh pond-"

"don't you love me anymore?" pond asked, the other line went silent. pond fell asleep while holding his phone in his ears.

"I love you pond, but I am not the one in your heart. it hurts me, where am I the whole time? it's only her in there."

[ moments later ]

someone tapped pond's shoulder, he immediately woke up and looked up.

"sir, the bar is already closing. you need to leave." the waiter said, pond nodded and walked out of the bar.

still hangover, he walked towards his car, got in and drove off.

when he got in his apartment, he immediately jumped to his bed and dozed off.

I am sitting right now in dunk's café, because we planned to eat dinner tonight at a local restaurant, near by.

"sorry for keeping you waiting." dunk mumbled, I smiled softly at him.

"it's okay, I didn't got bored or anything. besides, I am doing my work here in my laptop." then I pointed at my laptop, with my works showing.

"glad to know, let's go?"

"sure, let's go." I said, we went to my car and we drove to a nearby local restaurant.

we went inside and sat down, the waiter went to use and asked what we will order.

"just meat, medium rare and, can I get a wine as a drink?"

"ahm, same as him." dunk said, we waited for the food to arrive.

"how was you day?" I said, he looked at me and sigh.

"kinda tiring, but I'm fine." he said, and I nodded.

a couple of minutes later our food arrived, dunk suggested that we should take a picture. of course I agreed.

he took pictures of the food and then he took a picture of us.

"I will airdrop the pictures to you." he said, an airdrop immediately popped up to my phone.

I posted the pictures to my ig, with a caption "in the world full of dangerous things, I will protect you from them. @dunkiesss "

after we eat, we left the restaurant and I dropped dunk to their house.

"thank you for the treat, I had fun." he stated.

"am glad you liked it." I said, I kissed his cheeks and I drove off.

[ GEMINI ]

"so, why is it so high?" the person at my side said, whining about how high we will walked.

"the higher we reach, the higher chance our wish came true." I said, he looked at me with puppy eyes.

"really?" he said, I chuckled and nodded.

we started walking upstairs, many ribbons were tied every steps we take. after a solid minutes, fourth sat down and whined, again.

"when will this gonna end? I might dieee!!" he said, whining like a kid. I chuckled and sat beside him.

"few more steps, we can get there." I mumbled and patted his head. we continued walking upstairs then, we arrived at the very top.

"tie your bows there, and I will tie mine here." I said, we wrote down our wishes and tied it in the railings of the stairs.

"what did you wished for?" he asked, I softly chuckled.

"kinda funny, I wished to be your boyfriend. what about you?" I asked, and looked at him.

"to be your boyfriend too, I am answering your question that if I can be your boyfriend, then let be." he said, I looked at him in shock and immediately hugged him.

"woohoo! finally, after many many tries, you are officially mine!" I shouted, I put him down.

"can I?" I said, he nodded and we kissed. it was passionate, and magical.

[ flashback ]

"why are you like this, fot?" I said, while fot, he continued walking away. it was raining.

"fot!" I again said, and followed him. I held his arms.

"why are you like this!?" I shouted, his eyes because teary.

"you can't be like this to me gem, you have a girlfriend." he mumbled, I looked at him.

"girlfriend?"

"yes, girlfriend. stop bothering me anymore, your girlfriend might see us."

"fot, I don't have a girlfriend."

"who's that prim in your ig?"

"ohh, prim. she's my childhood friend." he looked away, and blushed.

"fot, I don't want her...I...I want you. can I pursue you, fourth nattawat boonprasert?" he looked at me wide eyeded.

"y..yes?" I hugged him in a pouring rain.

now, I got myself a cute boyfriend.
