having a family was never in my plan. in my plans, there was getting rich, getting into a prestigious organization or company, helping my brothers, and travelling around the world.

I've never planned to have a child or a husband, because I am scared of pregnancy, for real.

because, being pregnant and you're an omega is hard. that's what I've heard from my friends, I am scared to fall in love too. but pond, i still don't know.

while I was rubbing my tummy, so many thoughts are on my mind. am I ready?

"hey, what are you doing here? it's getting late, it's bad for the baby." pond said. and tapped my shoulder.

"oh, I'm just looking at the sunset. it's pretty."

"let's go inside to eat." I hummed in response, he helped me to go down stairs, then I sat down at the table.

after a while, I'm already full. I told pond that I will watch netflix at the couch, he agreed since he will finish his work at his home-office.

I am now watching my favorite series on the tv, when suddenly I feel nauseous. I called pond, and he immediately went downstairs.

"I feel nauseous, my tummy is hurting so bad." I said, he helped me to get in his car. we drove to the nearest clinic we could possibly find.

the doctor did some tests on me, and after a while I fell asleep. when I woke up, pond was about to wake me up.

"what happened, is the baby okay?" that's the first thing I said, pond smiled.

"totally fine, you're just so full, you need to control your food daily, said the doctor."

"thank Goodness, I thought I lost my baby."

"you will not, we will take good care of that baby." pond smiled, rubbing my 16 weeks tummy.

"the baby is getting bigger day by day, should we held a gender reveal party?"
pond said.

"wait, you already know the gender?"

"not yet, but the doctors know."

"let's go and throw away a gender reveal party, I love that idea." I said, pond smiled. after the check up, the doctor said that we can go home, and we did.

I sat at the couch as soon as we got home, my weight is getting heavier and heavier.

"when do you want to throw a gender reveal party?" pond asked me, and sat beside me.

"maybe next week? or this week? next next week can't be, my tummy can't." I said, pouting.

"sure, this week it is." I smiled happily, my baby is so happy today.

"the baby's hungry, we want chocolate spaghetti."

"a what?" pond looked at me confused, I rolled my eyes.

"oh, you want that. sure I will tell the maids to make you one." pond smiled at me.

"no, I want it to be cooked by you."

"but I don't know how to cook, even frying a egg."

"okay, let me and the baby die in hungriness, you are such a bad father." I said, crying like a baby.

"don't cry na phu, I will try to cook it for you, just don't cry na." pond said, then wiped my tears.

"okay!" I said, smiling. gosh, hormones.

after a while, pond came back with a spaghetti with nutella on it. I clapped my hands because, I'm happy.

"yey! thank you khab." I said, munching to the spaghetti.

"yummy!" I added, pond smiled at me.

"I will go now, I have a meeting at 12, bye na. take care." pond said, rushed to go outside.

"but it's already 11:30." I mumbled, feeling guilty.

after a while, I fell asleep at the couch, when I woke up it's already night time. I walked towards the bathroom to pee. then I walked upstairs to sleep at my room.

"good morning." a smile was seen in the corner of my eyes, it's pond.

"go get ready, we will buy some stuff for the gender reveal party."

"I was about to tell the maids to buy them earlier, but I think if they bought it, you will not like it. so, you can pick what design you want." he added, I smiled.

I went to the bathroom to get ready, I wore an oversized t-shirt then a cozy cardigan.

I looked my self at the mirror, oh my, I am really getting fat.

"p'pond, do you think I look fat?" I said, pond looked at me.

"no, you're like that because our baby is healthy. that's why." he said, smiled at him.

"let's go na." I said, we went downstairs then we drove off.

we arrived at mall, we immediately went to the party section, where we will pick our design for the party.

a couple of hours later, we were sitting at a restaurant, eating because, the baby got hungry. again.

"hi, pond! nice to see you again!" a girl approached us, pond gladly shaked hands with her.

"hello, mint! you too." he replied, I sat there, eating my dessert.

"who's he? brother? cousin? friend?" the girl said while chuckling.

"he looks so full to me, haha!" she added, I looked at myself. wow, I didn't realize how much fatter I have become.

suddenly, my eyes are filled with tears, the girl was still laughing. I tugged the hem of my cardigan. forcing myself not to cry.

"he's my wife. by the way, he's not fat. he's just pregnant, don't make fun of him he's sensitive, so was his pregnancy. do you mind minding your own business, and stop meddling to us? hm?" pond said, the girl stoped chuckling. she left without even saying a word.

"don't mind her, she's just blind. okay?" pond looked at me, I nodded then continued eating my ice cream.

"the part will be held the day before tomorrow at our backyard, is that okay?"

"that's fine, I don't want to go far. I'm fine in the backyard."

"okay, what will be the baby's gender. I'm so excited." pond said, smiling.

"me too, I want it to be a girl."

"wow, I want it to be a boy."

"we will know soon!" I said, chuckling.
