*FLICKER* A Broken Promise (Anonymous Mode)

The sounds of an Opera being silenced

As soon as the clock struck midnight, the lights cut out, leaving everybody more paranoid than they were ever before. Everyone scattered, having a goal of surviving the night. Jordan decided to commit to the act until she could hear the sound of loud snores. She walked out of the bedroom and could suddenly hear opera singing in the bathroom, overpowering sounds of the asleep. Jordan pulled out the switchblade and tip-toed inside.

"Wow, what beautiful singing you have Aph!" Jordan said, hiding the knife behind her back.

"Oh! Thank you so much!" She smiled in a lovingly way.

"Can I hear another?"

"Of course!"

Jordan smirked as Aphrodite started to angelically sing once again, oblivious to Jordan's intentions. Jordan stared down the knife comprehending what she was about to do, but then remembered this was for her own survival. She held Aphrodite tight as she she aimed a knife at her torso.

"Jordan! What are you doing?!" Aphrodite asked, frightened.

Jordan didn't answer, rather stabbing her in the stomach. Aphrodite screamed bloody murder as Jordan stabbed her continuously.

"I WON'T LET YOU DO THIS! PLEASE JORDAN! STOP!" Aphrodite pleaded, her makeup stained onto her cheeks from the tears.

"Stop struggling and this won't be as hard!" Jordan said aggressively.

The last stab in the heart is what killed Aphrodite, killing a Greek Goddess. Her body banged it's head on the kitchen sink as it fell onto the tile floor. Jordan looked at her blood stained hands, tears stinging her eyes. She thought of her Mother, how she promised she would never be like her father. She sobbed as she cleaned up the blood with a dishrag and went back to bed, crying herself to sleep.

Minji awoke a few hours later to get a cup of water. She immediately could smell Aphrodite's lifeless body in the bathroom.

"Augh!" What is that smell?" She asked herself, pinching her nose.

As she went into the bathroom to investigate, she stepped on the rotting corpse and turned on the light. She tensed up as she lay her eyes at the lifeless body. She got down onto her knees and caressed Aphrodite's cut up face, looking at her rolled back eyes and open mouth.

"I'm so sorry you had to go through this. You didn't deserve this, not at all. She looked at her in a sad, but caring way. Minji then got up and grabbed a trash bag, carefully putting Aphrodite inside. She hid her in the closet, hoping no one else would have to see such a sight, then went to bed, traumatized.
