Lunae

'Let the light from the sun guide you under the moon to the glittering stars where all light shines.'

"You are home, my child," A deep, ethereal voice echoed.

It sent a cold shiver down her spine.

Lunae's eyes fluttered open to find the most stunning night sky above her. She frowned, this is not where she died.

She was lying down, she realised. Surrounded in some kind of liquid that strangely she could not feel. Lunae sat up.

"Would you like to know the whole story?" The voice from before came again.

Lunae stared directly into the eyes of the source.

A man- no a being- sat on a gilded throne on a risen platform before her, one leg over the other. Ornate fingers drummed on the arms of the chair.

He wore a wicked smile, crimson eyes with black sclera, indigo markings painted over his tan face and neck in sigils. Large curving, devil-like horns sprouted from his head, parting his black hair, where pointed ears would usually reside, small, feathered wings sat.

A terrifying scar in the shape of an 'X' split his face in four.

Malum.
