Jimin's gaze held hers, his eyes intense as he spoke. "I'm sorry for my lies, baby." His voice resonated with a deep regret that tugged at Y/N's heartstrings.

Despite the heat rising in her cheeks under his unwavering gaze, Y/N tried to focus on his injuries. "It m-might be hurting you, Jimin," she stammered. "Let me go."

Jimin gave a slight negative shake of his head. While it was true she couldn't fully rest her weight on his chest - the cuts and bruises there likely screamed in protest - Jimin, in a way, was taking advantage of the situation. A small smirk played on his lips as he reached out and gently grasped her right leg, maneuvering it to cross over his thigh. With a soft tug, he settled her fully onto his lap, her legs now crossed on either side of him.

Y/N's lips parted in a hesitant protest. "J-Jimin..."

He hummed in response, his eyes remaining closed.

"Y-your wounds will h-"

"Shh," he interrupted softly, "don't focus on them, focus on me."

Jimin cupped her nape in his hand and gently tilted her head towards his. Their foreheads touched in a tender gesture, both closing their eyes. His breath fanned warmly against her face as his large hands circled her waist. He began a slow, sensual caress, sending shivers down her spine. Instinctively, her grip tightened on his shoulders as she breathed his name on a whisper.

"J-Jimin..."

His voice, a low rumble against her skin, confessed his truth. "I never dated anyone else, Y/N. My heart only beat for one girl, and that was you, only you."

Y/N felt a blush creep up her cheeks. As her breathing calmed, she slowly opened her eyes. He still kept his eyes closed, his heart laid bare before her. A soft smile played on her lips, a flicker of understanding and forgiveness lighting up her eyes.

Jimin continued, his voice low and sincere. "I only said those awful things because I wanted to clear the air, to cut Hyejin out of the picture. She was the one sending you those messages, pretending to be her - a pathetic attempt to manipulate us. You, Y/N, are the only one who owns my heart."

He finally opened his eyes, meeting her gaze. His light brown orbs held a depth of affection and pure love, piercing through her with their intensity.

"I'm not just-" he began, but Y/N interrupted him softly.

"I know," she whispered, her voice trembling slightly. "You're telling the truth."

Shock flickered across Jimin's face for a brief moment before understanding dawned. He could guess who might have revealed the truth to her, or at least hinted at it.

"Mom, right?" he confirmed gently.

Y/N offered a small smile and a nod. Their foreheads touched as they leaned into each other, a silent affirmation of their newfound connection. Jimin mirrored her smile and nuzzled his face into the crook of her neck, eliciting a giggle from Y/N. She instinctively wrapped her arms around him, but his groan of pain made her pull back slightly.

"Careful," he cautioned with a wince, gesturing to his injured arm.

YN's concern shot through the roof as she saw Jimin wince and clutch his arm. The realization that he'd likely endured a brutal fight settled heavily in her stomach.

"I'm so sorry," she apologized, her brow furrowed. Her worry trumped her earlier reservations, and a strong urge to examine his wound washed over her. She pressed her lips into a thin line, then took a deep breath, steeling herself. As Jimin let out a sigh, she spoke, her voice barely a whisper.
