~at the furniture store~
" I really want loft bed. What about you, Emily?" I asked, as we stood in the bed section.
"I think I just want a regular bed, but with a canopy or something. "
"Ooh! I want a bunk bed. Maybe it'll take up enough space that Amelie will want to move out."
Poor Sydney had to room with Amelie, despite Emily and I's many protests to let her room with us. But I'm sure that she will spend more time in our room that hers.
"Great idea!"
I picked out a loft bed with a desk and shelves underneath, a bookshelf, and a blue couch. Emily got a trundle bed and a blue desk. Our room colors were going to be blue , purple, and white. Sydney picked out a bunk bed she was planning on painting neon green. Then we went to Target, so we could pick out a rug of Emily and I's apartment, and other things that we would just need for the kitchen and stuff.
At Target, we picked up a purple rug, and some bedspreads. Mine had a ocean scene in blue and white and purples on it, and Emily's was chevron purple, white, and blue. Sydney picked up a neon yellow desk lamp, that she was going to put on the shelf that was sticking out of the top bunk of her bed. She wanted to make her room look as obnoxious and neon as possible. Sydney really loved neon and bright colors, which made her unique, and we could always spot her in a crowd.
After Target, we went to see our apartments for the first time. The building was very fancy, so I knew I would be happy when I walked into my apartment. And the second Emily and I walked in, our mouths dropped open, and we walked farther into the large front room. The apartment had 4 rooms: 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, and this large room we were in, which was a combination of a kitchen and living room. Emily and I both picked a room, and put the stuff we bought at Target away. Then, we sat on the couch and watched Disney movies with popcorn and Skittles.

sorry about the short chapter, but it is just a filler chapter. The next few chapters will have drama!
