Han Taesan always starts his day with a hot shower. He does today as well, but he just can't seem to focus. It doesn't feel cleansing today, he just feels disgust. With himself.
He meets up with Sungho in their dorm. Sungho didn't bother starting his day early today. He needed to be focused today. He needed to meet his competition. To be fair though, this competition didn't know he existed.
They walked in silence to the practice room, the air heavy between them. Once they arrive, they sit in chairs by the wall, waiting for their producer. They don't dare to converse, with the threat of losing their composure.
They hear an rhythmic knock on the door, and the producer sticks his head in. "You ready?" He asks, speaking in his non-native stylistic English.
The boys nod and grab their bags, following their producer, who notices their down attitude.
"Hey, are you guys ok?" Their producer asks. The boys hear, and raise their heads, covering any low attitude problem.
"Why wouldn't we be?" Taesan smiles. He's not as down. He's ready to prove himself to those other boys and the producer.
Zico drops it and leads them down a hallway, with one of the rooms blaring SHINee songs on max volume. Sungho wonders how he'd never heard it before and, judging by the sheer volume, this is a normal occurrence.
Zico knocks on the door, pushing it open to reveal two boys. One was showing the other a video on an iPad, likely choreography, while the other focuses partly, while also focusing on singing along to 'Sherlock.'
Neither of them notice the company they have until the producer clears his throat and they turn towards the door.
