5 - Morality

For every Reaction there is an equivalent opposite. Is it truly the same with power?

Day 4:

The News Reporter goes live,

"As many of us saw yesterday, The Unknown and first-time Challenger, Vashrak asked to fight one of the Mrakilins. Ares Mrakilin stepped up and fought the unarmed man but was defeated by Him. Many fans of the Contest say Vashrak cheated although no concrete evidence of cheating done by Vashrak has been given from the fans or from the Contest Administration."

The News reported takes a second and continues,"Although, in a shocking turn of events, The Mrakilins publicly accepted Vashrak's challenge, having one of the Mrakilins fight him till Vashrak has been defeated. Till then, the contest is put to hold. This is truly the Contest of the Century here folks."

It was 9 AM and the colosseum was packed. Everyone was ready for this fight. The last fight was sudden and thrilling to watch so the people now were interested in the fight between what they considered, A Man vs A God

Vashrak stepped into the Colosseum from his portal. The crowds began to Boo him but one tiny portion of people actually wanted him to win. Vashrak looked towards the Mrakilins and William stood up to announce this fight.

"Vashrak! Since you have publicly announced your war against us, we have some rules. You must keep your fight with us, contained within the arena and If you lose, you will accept to give up your life."

Vashrak laughs "I will agree to it on one condition then. If I win against all of you, I get your thrones."

The crowd goes into shock but William knew James would ask that. William agrees.

William continues, "Then, Vashrak, Your contender for today is Arcano Mrakilin!" The crowd went wild. Arcano Mrakilin was known for his wits and skill and the fact that he is the 2nd most powerful Mrakilin amongst the 5.

Arcano stepped into the grounds and most of the people cheered "Ar-ca-no! Ar-ca-no!". Vashrak remembered what Arcano's skill was. He began to think to himself,

"Arcano's skill, Lords of Sand, is a skill that allows one to manipulate the time of the present. In Arcano's hand, the interpretation gives him the ability to slow, speed and stop the objects he likes. He was a few versions of the skill that I have to avoid.

Speed up

Slow

Stop

Enhance strength

Slow only slows an object down to 70% of its original speed. He cant use stop since its an area based skill that takes 5 minutes to activate. The Enhance strength skill with speed up is a dangerous combo, I need to be wary of throwables."

WRITER NOTE: The Enhance strength skill is actually an application of the Speed up and Slow skills. To pick something up, Arcano just uses his Slow skill to slow the object down and in turn, its mass is lowered mid air. This goes for the opposite where Arcano can just speed his arm up and punch a wall with great strength and heal himself instantly by focusing his skill on his hand.

Also, Arcano can't go fast like how Vashrak/James does it, since his interpretation is based on area rather than mass

Arcano asks, "Are you ready to go down again?!"

Vashrak replied "Let's see who goes down first, Arcano!"

3.....2....1... BEGIN!

Vashrak dashes towards Arcano but Arcano uses his Enhance strength to break the ground around himself and throws a bunch of small rocks at Mach 4 towards Vashrak. Vashrak, unable to dodge the rocks, gets slammed into the wall. Vashrak goes blank for just a second and when his eyes open, Aracno is mere Inches away from a punch.
