8 - Interpretation

James readies himself. He creates a powerful magical longsword using the 'Warlord' skill. William smiles a bit and creates a powerful longsword of his own, readying himself for an attack.

FIGHT

James and William dash towards each other. James uses his Speed up powers to propel himself towards William. William dashes in using his speed skill. Both clash blades and a huge shockwave emanates from the clash, almost cracking the ground beneath them.

"Is this all you can do William!? After 500 years!?" James taunted William. William uses the 'Hades' skill to turn the ground under James into Lava. James notices this and Jumps away from William, into the air. But just as he was in the air, he sees a huge boulder of lava and rock thrown towards him. It was a part of the Hades skill which William had now used to summon and throw Hellstone from the Underworld.

William knew that James couldn't avoid such a huge boulder that quickly, even if he used the time-speed up. But what William didn't know was, unlike William, James had set new interpretations to the skills instead of using the old interpretations like William.

James turned into Pure Lightning, Blitzing through the boulder, cutting it in half and coming back in Human form in front of William to throw him to the wall.

James had generated a new interpretation of the Lightning skill. He could not only control lightning now but also become lightning! Although, this came at the cost of being unable to manipulate lightning when it's out of his reach.

William fell into the wall and as he'd dropped down, he saw James blitz towards him with his sword for his hit. But William acted quicker, using the Creation skill to seal James inside a dome made of Bedrock. James can be heard, trying to punch through the rock with no avail.

"Your fists can't break through that James!" William shouted, almost proclaiming his victory. He readies his Hades skill to fill the dome with lava, ready to end James's life but just then,he notices a bunch of small silver balls thrown towards his direction from seemingly nowhere. He dodges the balls and as they land on the wall beside him, they explode.

William looks around, thinking to himself, "What was that?!". Then, he looked towards the dome and realised, "The Warlord skill!" A bunch of silver balls are made from a blinding orange light and land on the wall of the bedrock.

"NO!" William screamed, about to use the Hades skill to fill the dome with Lava before James could be set free but just then, a lightning bolt was sent towards him.

"I can dodge this with my Speed Skill!" William thought to himself. But what he didn't realise was, James had applied slow to his area and therefore, no matter what William did, he couldn't dodge the bolt heading towards him.

As William gets hit by the blast, he recalls a sparring session he had with James, almost 500 years ago...

Sparring session:

William gets knocked back to the edge of the grounds.

"Okay, I win again" James proclaims. William stands up, looks back to James and asks, "How do you keep winning? I have the most powerful skill and even you said, that I have the strongest interpretation of the skill"

James walks towards William, "Hmm... You just aren't creative with your attacks." James replied to William. William gets slightly annoyed, "Huh?"

James expands on his answer, "For example, with my skill interpretation, I could dash, slash and just move things around fast. That's my base Interpretation yet, I was creative enough to use that same skill to fly and create an ultimate attack for my skill."
