Murder Drones: Dismantled Brethren

The truth...

S sat on top of the pod. He's made it to the surface

...his friends and friend's daughter are safe...for now. There was nothing to do. Everyone kind of gave S and V a bit of personal space. 

Both of their outbursts showed that they needed to be alone.

 It also didn't help that, since N was no longer interested in V...

It made his true feelings come out. 

He never liked J...couldn't stand her...

But if he told N that He ALSO had a crush on V...it'd be awkward

...what could he say? He made a lie to cover up his tracks...and since He left Earth S thought he'd never have to deal with these complicated feelings again. 

And yet like everything it comes back to bite him in the ass...His friends come back...N is pretty much the same...but V...she's...different. 

She's a lot more hostile and oil-thirsty. She didn't even wear her glasses which S swore were welded to her face.

 She was completely different from the caring and timid V he once knew...so why does he still have feelings for her? 

As S continued to think he closed his eyes for a second, his visor darkening....until tapping boots him back up again. 

"Heeey...you dead?"

 S opens his eyes to see V tapping on his visor. She frowns. 

"Ugh, thought you died...would have finally eaten someone."

 S sighed and sat up to see V sitting as well. V looks behind her to see S staring at her and quickly looks away.

 "Why don't you bother Uzi or something?"

 V laughs as she pulls out her bubble wand.

 "N won't let me step anywhere near her..probably had something to do with me almost blowing her brains out." She blew bubbles from the wand.

 "To be fair...you DID seem pretty upset...and lashing out on top of the spire didn't help." V looked towards S and grinned. 

"Oh? And you're so different?" She pulls out her claw hand and puts one of the claws on S's visor "Preeetty sure you didn't fare much BETTER..."

 S chuckled uncomfortably and gently pushed V's claw away from his visor. "Alright, alright." V hummed and went back to blowing bubbles. She watches as S tries to activate the bubble wand with his OWN Disassembly Drone arm. 

She watches as he instead pulls out a banana. 

"Why did they even give you guys this? You can't eat it."

 V laughed at S's poor attempt. "For a Sentient Toaster, you're not THAT big of a pushover." S looked at V, blushing a bit 

"Thanks...is that because I almost lost my mind?" V didn't look back at S but still answered 

"Maaaaybe."

 S rolled his eyes with a smile on his face.

"Are you implying that you and I aren't so different from each other?" 

V quickly turned to S flustered "NO! YES!...maybe!" S laughed and was met with a blade stopping a few inches from his face. 

"STOP TALKING!" 

S grabbed the blade and pushed it away 

"Ok, sorry." V raised an eyebrow and shook her head, going back to blowing bubbles. 

"Glad to see N is doing a lot better." V scoffed but looked over in the distance to see N talking with Uzi 

"...yeah..."

 V hears something pop and turns to see S blowing bubbles from his wand. She grins.

 "Heh, good job." S blushes "Thanks." V moves closer to S, while he looks over confused.

 He feels something tap his back turning to see her tail nudging him forward. 

He does and the two are closer now. 

"Ahem!"

 The two turn to look up, seeing Uzi flying midair,

 "If you two are done we got a situation." 

S stood up "What?" 

Uzi pointed towards N who was lying on the snow.

"Something's wrong with N." V got up quickly and flew over to N's body.

 S reaches out for her but she's already far gone. 

Uzi turns to S "need a hand?" 

S laughs sarcastically. "Hahahaha...so funny." 

Uzi's tail grabs S and throws him at N. 

S doesn't react as he lands in the snow walking over to V crouching over N's body, her finger now a usb stick plugged into the back of N's head.. 

He walks up to her and opens his mouth to say something, but nothing comes out. She turns to see S standing there at a loss for words as Uzi lands.

 "He's not offline, his consciousness is still there..it's just replaying some of his memories...but it's..different."

 Her finger turns back to normal. She puts her hands on her hips

 "If you have any bright ideas now's the time." Uzi scratches her chin while S tries to turn his finger into a USB stick.

 Uzi speaks up "We could finally tap into your memories!" 

V groans 

"Not happening, I've had enough stuff in my mind for one lifetime. Uzi frowns "Not sure YOU got anything unless it involves your stomach."

 V's eyes narrow. Uzi turns to S "Got any ideas?"

 S was too busy looking at V in awe 

"...S!"

 S snapped back to reality 

"I mean...if N's trapped inside his memories the best bet is to go in there and figure it out. V crosses her arms.

 "O-or we could..Y'know..figure out something else." S laughs nervously. Uzi raises an eyebrow looking between the two.

 "Oookay..well if you're okay with N losing the last of his memories that's fine by me." 

She turns to leave and S looks back at Uzi.

 "She means well V..she's just..."

 S looks back at V to see her visor has a loading screen on it.

 "...V?"

 She falls in the snow. S screams.

 "V!" 

He shakes her trying to wake up. Uzi turns to see the two Disassembly Dornes lying in the snow. She smiles 

"Well, looks like thats the tiebreaker." She grabs N under the arms and carries him back to the colony. 

"Come on, S we got some heads to crack open." 

She laughs evilly as S looks over to V lying motionless in the snow. He carefully picks her up by her arms and drags her to the colony as well. 

"Sorry V."
