shawn saw the girl grow up a very sad life. having a parent passing is bad enough, but seeing infront of your own eyes? terrible.
shawn saw the girl cry herself to sleep, instantly being reminded of his sister. he wanted to cry, remembering his now broken family.
he saw the girl get bullied for being the freak who witnessed her fathers death. god, you'd think people would be a little bit more sincere? but no, he saw her cry and take her pills and he saw her tempted to hurt herself.
he always saw her eyeing a blade or any harm device, but that's how shawn helped. he was the little voice in her head, steering her away from bad.
then, when she had turned sixteen, he knew he could reveal himself. he was happy, he would meet her for the first time.
and on the first day of school, shawn walked up to her and pretended to be new and be in her classes.
but this is where being a ghost has perks. he made only her see him.
only her.
she tried pushing shawn away but it was no use. shawn was there to stay.
he wasn't going anywhere for a long time. she then embraced shawn and they became the best of friends. shawn saw the change in her, no longer crying herself to sleep, no longer eyeing harmful things, and he felt satisfied. life was good for her and shawn.
until it happened.
